It is defective junk from China and I immediately returned it to the store just about 24 hours after purchasing it. Today they decided that they no longer speak English and that they cannot decide now whether or not to issue a refund. I offered to buy and better, more expensive crate if they would credit the amount of the first purchase but they refused. They kept the defective, and now damaged, carrier and tried to keep all of my receipts. They never asked for my contact information and refused to be of assistance. So they now have the item I purchased AND my money. The only alternative I have is to file a dispute with my bank. Needless to say, I will never buy another thing from these dishonest people.

Most of the time, the in store animals don't have enough space, the right lights, the right food, or the right enclousure (Which includes the right roommates for the enclousure.). A lot of the times, the animals themselves have injuries or are sick. Please don't support these big chain pet stores. The stores don't care about animals. As a little personal story of mine. Once I actually came inside, I saw a snake that seemed to have an injured face, almost like a cut or an ulcer going up from his/her upper lip to her nostral. Which was probably the most obvious form of sickness/injury I saw. Others were malnourishment, overstocking every single fishtank even with agressive fish, putting (even though the species is usually peaceful) agressive animals in tiny enclousures together, or even having tarantulas or whatever kind of big spider in tiny and very shallow boxes/terrariums, probably so people can see them but that is no excuse for abuse. Overall, it's just not pretty. So please, do not support these shops with poor care. Go to your local pet shop instead!

The lady at the shop was extremely helpful and guided us to a good option for organic food and we were able to get enough for our week-long tour of the Czech Republic. We definitely be visiting Hunter next year when we return.

Nice selection for really good prices. Staff doesn't speak much English but are very helpful and friendly. The lady there spent quite along time dealing with my rambunctious biting puppy trying different harnesses on him so she could recommend the best one.
