This is a long overdue belated review and a little long so bear with me! Wayne from Absolutely…read moreAmerican Pest Control is fantastic! He answers the phone right away, comes to evaluate the job almost immediately, prices are fair and work is fantastic! I had seen reviews for Strike First but they were too busy and referrred me to Wayne. Wayne replaced the vents on a small family bungalow in Manahawkin to deter the racoons that were living in the attic from returning which required several trips to apply a paste to deter them and to ensure the racoons had not returned and replacing the vents back in late March/early April. Wayne also cleaned out my vents here in Ocean Acres/DR Horton special in Barnegat which required climbing a huge ladder way up to the second floor to check and clean out the vents on the exterior of the house and then climbing into my attic to remove the rest of the nesting material on the inside. Fast forward a few months later and I noticed a vent this time in the rear of the house with bird droppings staining the siding underneath, a telltale sign birds had built a nest there, and he replaced that vent covering for me as well as well as all of the vent coverings at my request (I didn't want to take the chance that the birds would move to the other vents!). The vents are metal and attractive and sit flush against the house, I much prefer them over the plastic grid type that some exterminators place over the vents that extend out from the house. Highly recommended! I will be using Wayne's services again in the future now for regular extermination once I find a pool contractor and finish the pool and all the concrete work!

I called and spoke with a person at…read morePestcore who told me she thought someone would be available that day, and in fewer than 2 minutes of hanging up with receptionist, a pest control expert named Gary Balak from Pestcore called me back and said he could be at our place in Beach Haven that afternoon to inspect what we had found, and believed to be bed bugs. Gary told us he would call or text if his time of arrival wasn't between 2-4pm that day as promised, and which we appreciated. 30 minutes later, Gary called back to say he freed up and could come to our home, which he did right away. He was an excellent communicator, very professionally presented in both truck and dress, and took a careful look to then tell us it was a type of ladybug but not bedbugs - fortunately. We were relieved since we had family coming, and could not have been happier with Pestcore and Gary. Oh, and there was no charge since no work was done. I offered to pay but they politely declined and said they appreciated our business. Excellent service and good to know they are around should we need them again.

He clearly explained his strategy and is very knowledgeable. The company is family owned and operated. They follow up via text message diligently. They show up on time and extremely professional. Most importantly , they know what they are doing and do it well!! It has been three weeks since Chris started to tackle the problem. He has been to the house at least four times to follow up/ treatments. He said icy could take up to eight weeks, but I was there today and saw no sign of life at all!!! For a frightening bee's nest, I was given lightning-fast, friendly and knowledgeable service…read more Melissa was very kind on the phone. Evan came out right away, educated me on what type of Scary Bee I was seeing (less scary than I thought), and efficiently removed the nest. He respected my request for minimal chemical use. No crazy expensive bill, no demand for credit card ahead of time. Respectful of my time and intelligence. This was in sharp contrast to other companies I called, who read from a script, quoted figures in the hundreds of $ just to come evaluate my situation, and were scheduling many days out. (I am not one to seek wildlife removal from the exterior of my house, as it is usually unnecessary and has the potential to be cruel. Because these folks were willing to engage in cogent dialogue, I'm inclined to believe that my priorities would be considered if I had a problem with critters indoors. This is a sore spot with me but I do think these folks would listen. They were exceedingly HUMAN.) So please understand that this is my A+++ for what I needed, and I'd call these guys first if the need arose again.
