Lovely dinner! Pub style atmosphere of cozy tables, friendly service, and lots of locals. Menu options vary regularly it looks like, see the chalkboard inside. They had a great selection of toasties and some usual fare like burgers and chips.
Sole filet with fried squid over herbed orzo was delicious! Buttery soft fish and crunchy squid made a delicious combination. The pork belly over bubble and squeak with apple cider cream was very savory and cooked perfectly. Our first bubble and squeak - it was very good. Dunvegan smoked salmon with crème fraiche was excellent - a gentle smoke and very fresh and delicate. You can really taste the salmon and the smoke was complimentary and not overpowering.
