If I didn't know better, I'd think that AJ's is owned by Raley's, which we shopped at for 30+ years. A lot of upscale, well-dressed people in the store... very high-end in nature and curb appeal. I especially want to recognize Tom in the meat department. He's been there for years, and you can tell he genuinely takes pride in his work. His department is always spotless, the meat always looks fresh and beautifully displayed, and he's constantly restocking while still paying attention to every customer who walks up. Even when he's busy, he's always friendly, attentive, and ready to help. Another employee who deserves recognition is Kelli H., one of the cashiers. Even though I usually use self-checkout, whenever I go through her line she's always so kind and welcoming. One time she was about to close her register, but when I asked if she could take just a few more items, she smiled and said, "Yeah, absolutely. I can always take more." She also helped me learn how to use the Albertsons app so I could get the sale price on an item, bagged all of my groceries, and even loaded everything into my cart. She truly goes above and beyond every single time I see her. I also love that this location is in the Scottsdale Crossing Shopping Plaza" inside has a Starbucks, a pharmacy, and a hot food section. I almost always grab one of their rotisserie chickens they're so good!
