From the initial consultation to the finished product, Rob made suggestions, helped solve problems, and made everything that we needed happen. All of the men who worked with him, including the carpenters, plumbers, electricians, HVAC guys, painters, and jack of all trades, Ronnie, were all hard workers and always polite. They cleaned up the messes made at the end of each day. Rob came in under budget and well within the time frame given for completion. He even started right on time! My dad is thrilled with his new home. We are so grateful that Rob made this happen for us. I would highly recommend Rob and his crew for any of your construction/remodeling jobs.

Recently we had a big exterior renovation job done by a highly recommended local contractor that went south very quickly. Needless to say we were very disappointed and didn't exactly know what to do about getting everything redone correctly. Then came along Stephen, he listened to our nightmare of a story, assessed our situation, gave me a quote & timeline the next day. So the day comes that everything was supposed to get started. Chuck, Tom & crew were here first thing in the a.m. Supplies had been delivered 2 days prior so these guys were were ready to rock. Chatted with the guys for a few before leaving for work...btw they are GREAT guys. So I get home for lunch and noticed a difference in my siding as I'm driving down the road at 40mps. Unbelievable.....in one morning?? Okay.....long story short. 3 days, all mess picked up each day, can't even tell they had been here, pay attention to detail, hard working, reliable, knowledgeable & professional. House looks incredible!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

We thought we were getting the best inspector in Columbus, based upon everyone's recommendations…read more We were wrong! All we can say is read the contract throughly and know exactly what you are signing. Ensure the inspector does not have other business interactions or personal relations with the persons or property you are having inspected. Follow the inspector around as they have the right to disclose what they choose to. Ensure you have them notate any and all damages from anything. Lastly, avoid getting a termite inspection from this company.

He cost me thousands of dollars and talking to another person it was tens of thousands. Think about it, real estate companies recommend him because he'll pass any home in order to get additional business. If a house fails, agents will look somewhere else. I met with an attorney who said I had no ability to sue him because of his contract wording. Hire a plumber, electrician and general contractor for an inspection. They'll be less expensive and more thorough.

I talked to Schneidler Glass and they said they could keep the current frame and just replace the glass. They ordered the glass which took a week to come in and then replaced it. The cost was $112 when everyone else who wanted to replaced the whole thing was saying $200 or more. American Home Improvements is an amazing company. In December we scheduled a date in January for…read moreDennis and his crew to build a new front porch, remove and install facia board, complete some roofing, install gutters and a few more small things. When the date in January came around, the temperature outside was in the single digits. We automatically assumed Dennis would not start work, and with good reason since it was so cold. Imagine our shock when the crew showed up to work, just as promised. They worked for several days in the freezing weather and did a fantastic job! The work was completed on time and looks better than we had hoped. Dennis communicated with us every step of the way (like the time he was going to be late because his truck tailgate was frozen shut!) He listened to our requests and made sure he understood what we wanted. We will most definitely have Dennis and his crew from American Home Improvements be back to complete more projects!
