Went here about a week ago to get a simple cartridge swap done on my basic Audio Technica…read moreturntable. Decided to go on Tuesday since it was their late day. I arrived there about 30 mins before their close time but unfortunately they had some issues that caused them to close early. Anyways, I spoke with the owner John and he said he was gonna return in an hour so I decided to grab something to eat then head back since it was a decent drive from my house. Took a little longer than an hour, but things happen. When John got there, he gladly changed the cartridge for me on the spot (during after hours) and I hung out there while listening to some music on his killer setup. He was a very friendly guy that got the job done in 30 mins and for a reasonable price. My advice is to call before you go to make sure that they're open but they're a great little shop that has plenty of experience (27 years worth!) I'll definitely be returning I'm sure for all related repairs/audio purchases.

We took several months to decide our project, budgets and configurations. We went back and forth for several iterations. During all this time, John was extremely accommodating and engaging with us and building out several revisions of configuration to exactly meet our needs. He understood our quality and aesthetic needs and helped pick the setup that would work for us. He was also very transparent on where we could cut costs and where we could get value in spending. It's been a year and our home is a standard fix for all movie and sporting event parties with friends. We were keen on having our basement setup as a multi purpose area and not just a theater and DTV did a phenomenal job in achieving that goal ! We didn't want any wires, external free standing speakers or fixed screen that our young kids could mess up. That's what we exactly got. The team was also extremely friendly and very diligent. They cleaned up everyday after themselves and did a great job. We had a lot of cutting through ceiling etc and they fixed it all back to new. They were also flexible in working with our busy work schedules to find the right days to get the job done. In all, I am extremely pleased with the outcome and the service that DTV team provided. I definitely recommend them and will use them on our next project! Thanks John and team.

They contacted us urgently looking for six NetGear access points because they were unable to obtain them through their normal channels. We located and reserved the units for them. They requested a price below our cost, which we declined, and they placed an order for two units. Due to a fulfillment error, we mistakenly shipped six units instead of two. When we discovered the mistake, we immediately requested the return of the four additional units and offered to cover the return shipping. Hudson Home Media refused to return the units and refused to pay for them, stating that they considered them "unsolicited merchandise" rather than a shipment error. They also stated they would not pay because they believed we should have sold the original units at a lower price. Based on our experience, Hudson Valley Home Media can't be trusted.
