Yesterday the crew was here for the recent job of removing concrete landing step ( which started to fall apart during the winter) and replacing it with a granite step. This was all taking place in November when the weather can sabotage outdoor groundwork, if you can get someone. I went to a stone quarry company and explained what needed to be done in the obstacle course that was my backyard, and they recommended David from True North Masonry to me. "You'll really like him." You'll really like him, was in all fairness an understatement.The way David worked with us, communicated with us, as well as researched and tracked down stone, brick, granite with various sources for/with us was as if he was doing this for himself or his own family. He could have just done what we asked plain and simple. However, he suggested/ added some extras that finished the project off with cleaner lines, utility, and aesthetically. We don't just like him, we really, really like and appreciate him! When we had a question or wanted to change something, it was easy to communicate with him, and never a problem. David really listens to what you are asking him. The way he worked was very methodical and works cleanly. Anytime observing him work, it was clear that his skill level impressive. Did I mention he cleans up everything? :) In addition I just wanted to mention that we especially were impressed the way David employed many so many more skills along with his masonry work . Andy was fantastic with our installation. Responsive, reliable and easy to work with. He let us try…read morea few fixtures overnight to ensure we got the right pattern and took pictures to talk over the layout the next day. Additionally, the stuff he's using is pretty high quality, we have two destructive boys at home and everything is still standing 4 months later. We got to choose the color temperature, the fixture type and mostly the layout. Andy made some recommendations based on prior experience and i have to say, he was right in most cases. Ours was a large install some runs were over 200' and there is even light from the first to the last light. And we got a timer put in as to not light beyond midnight. We will have him back pretty soon to do our backyard. Note: We didn't uplight our house. Just the driveway, for navigational purposes.

They came to measure. On time, when they said they would. Back to the shop to cut the granite top. Called to set a schedule to install. Showed up on time. Right down to business. Friendly, professional and courteous. Placed down tarps, removed the old counter and installed the new counter. Cleaned after themselves. Down in less than an hour.
