They take the time to explain what's being done while servicing your car, and the text message updates make the entire process seamless and stress-free. As someone who genuinely dislikes dealing with car repairs, I really appreciated how easy and transparent everything was. Their customer service is stellar, and it's especially refreshing how respectful and professional they are toward female customers. I felt informed, comfortable, and never talked down to. Warning: In my opinion, my experience involved deceptive business practices…read more I called Dynasty Automotive before my appointment and specifically asked two questions: how much the A/C diagnostic would cost and how they would determine what was wrong with my vehicle. I was told the diagnostic would cost about $120 and that they would use a diagnostic tool to identify the problem. After waiting about an hour, I was told they could not diagnose the issue unless I first authorized a $471 A/C recharge, and that I should just let the Freon leak out to see if there was a leak. I was effectively left with two choices: pay about $120 for a "diagnostic" that would provide no diagnosis, or pay $471 for a Freon recharge without knowing whether it would fix the problem, just to continue the diagnosis. Feeling backed into a corner, I approved the recharge. Only after the recharge was completed was I told the evaporator was leaking and given a repair estimate of over $4,100. Later, I was told the dryer listed on the estimate was only a recommendation. What concerned me most were the inconsistent explanations. During my visit, I was told the leak had been identified using water from a water bottle. Later, I was told the recharge was necessary to identify the leak. Those two explanations cannot both be true. I requested a partial refund because I believe the need for a $471 recharge should have been disclosed when I specifically asked how the diagnostic would be performed. My request was denied.
