From our first meeting, she has always been honest and knowledgeable about her craft. She explained the entire process, answered my numerous questions (which I'm sure she has heard thousands of times), and really made me feel cared for. When I came in for my first appointment, she took so many measures to make sure I was comfortable. We chatted the whole time and the appointment flew by. And my brows looked the best they've ever looked (and they still do)! The color, shape, length...everything was meticulous. I ended up coming in for a follow up appointment in October just to make sure any bare spots from the healing process were filled in. While subtle, I'm so glad I went in again because she noticed an area that I never would have seen. Jesa is simply the best!!! I couldn't be happier with the results! I'm not exaggerating when I say that I believe the face and eye serums created by Maya are probably the best serums I've ever used. As someone with oily skin prone to blackheads and large pores, I've always been wary of serums and hesitant to try them. The ones I have tried have not lived up to the hype and ended up clogging my pores and sitting on top of my skin causing a greasy shine. I've felt put off from wanting to use them ever again. But as I get older, I really want to take care of my skin in every way, especially when it comes to anti-aging and keeping my skin looking youthful. I was fortunate to get the chance to try Maya's serums and the results were amazing. Immediately, I could see my skin taking on a lovely glow. My husband also noticed how the serums made my skin so incredibly soft and satin-smooth. He can't stop touching my face! One of the biggest pluses however, was that the serums did not break out my skin and I had no irritation. Maya customized the serums for my specific skin needs and made sure the ingredients were the most effective for my skin type. The scent of the serums is heavenly. They feel luxurious to apply and absorb into the skin quickly (which is something else that is important to me). I had a small rough patch near the lower left side of my face due to over washing and the face serum healed it right up. My skin looks healthy and radiant. The eye serums help a lot with keeping my eyes looking refreshed, especially as I have chronic insomnia. They prevent dark circles and have the added benefit of seeming to boost the growth of my lashes. I had no problems at all using these serums. If you've had issues with other serums in the past due to your skin type or sensitivities, Maya's serums are worth checking out. I also love that the serums are vegan and made of natural ingredients, so you know what you're getting. I highly recommend them. I'd give Maya's serums a 100% rating. They are hands down better than any others I've tried from the big brands. read more

Great customer service overall! I had a dermaplaning procedure and I have a high pigmentation skin type which caused my skin to spot with dark shades. Yikes! However- Maya was involved throughout the healing process which made me feel secure that I was in good hands and that my skin would tone down and clear back to normal. The reason I choose dermaplaning procedure was to remove sun damage and previous pregnancy spots on my face. Once the procedure was done my skin was fresh and clear after 2 weeks, however, thereafter I didn't protect my face from daily exposure to the sun and I had a bad case of high pigmentation reaction. I immediately notified Maya and she was very attentive and recommend/provided organic custom oils made by her which was my favorite to know what was exactly in each custom product. I am happy with the results and looking forward to my next visit. read more

My husband went to Maya to have a large brown spot on his face removed. Maya suggested to use the Dermaplaning 2 method. It worked great! The brown spot is completely gone and there is no scarring. I had several deep lines above my lip and minor wrinkles around my mouth. I purchased the serum that Maya made for my skin. I believe it has helped with the wrinkles around my mouth and my forehead, however the deep wrinkles need more intense treatment, i.e. laser or fillers. I opted for a filler and will continue to use Maya's serum. It could perhaps extend the time period before I would need another filler treatment. I intend to see Maya for a Dermaplaning 1 session. read more

Maya has taken years off of my face with two derma planing sessions and one needling session. She is amazingly skilled in evaluating your personal needs. This is not your everyday derma planing and needling. I was dubious, at best, to have the procedure(s), but her calming manner and obvious knowledge made it easier and I am so glad I did. Truly!! Be prepared for a few days of healing while the magic happens. If you are considering fillers, Botox or surgery see Maya first. read more

Maya delivered exactly what she promised. The micro needling smoothed out the few deep wrinkles at the corners of my eyes, and her eyebrow work was exceptional. I have a high threshold and tolerance for pain, so you might consider a muscle relaxer prior to having your eyebrows done. Do consult your doctor and Maya before taking anything prior to any procedure. The uncomfortableness is a result of the bone structure that lies just beneath the brow. read more
