She said because I did volume lashes which she discreetly disguises the name with something else. She calls it the extreme diva set for 300.00! Which she (tells) me was a volume set. I went to her several times showing her pics everytime and she kept stringing me along telling me we are getting there we will keep Adding each time. All I wanted was a volume set! I even called before I bought the initial groupon to make sure she did them and sent pics prior. I was lied to! I sat in the most uncomfortable chair for 3 hours at one of my appts. The setting was the worst. The chair is right inside the door in the middle of everyone with Jerry Springer blaring throughout the salon while people sat in the chairs in the waiting area just steps from my chair. This place is right out of the movie barbershop! Once she left me on the table while she went in the back and had lunch.. took personal calls while she's doing my lashes.. with her headset .. but still talking into my face... arguing with her son most of the time. I was recommended a new girl so I thought... ok fine I will give it a shot and saw her work and it was excellent. So I went in and this girl is the best I've ever been to. There is nobody better out there. This is top notch work! Did volume set in an hour... I was told that the last place I went to was doing classic lashes on me and both eyes were not the same. She used two dif size lashes on each eye! I was not happy since I had just paid her 100! I nicely sent her a message and asked for my money back from the last appt. she basically said hell no .. after not replying for days initially. She told me in writing (to cover her ass) that she doesn't do volume lashes!! I said wtf? I showed u pics before I ever went to you and everytime I came in and you said no problem..can't say enough bad things about this place. I'm disgusted, was ripped and lied to! I would run from this place if you are even considering it. If you want the best place in town message me. Her quality is like no other and it's taken years to finally find someone that actually does volume lashes instead of just saying they do. It takes extra certifications and classes.... I'm responding to your reply and you are completely full of it. I never asked for bundles or clusters! I showed you several pictures and u kept saying u could achieve that look and told me it would take awhile. I kept coming back to have her fix my lashes because they kept coming off!!! It took hours for her to fix as well. She does not know what she's doing I'm sorry to say. There are no excuses you could use on any of the complaints I had. Your lack of professionalism is unacceptable and you are a very dishonest biz owner. If only I could post our text messages. Just know people there is a place out there and she's the best in town and gets it done in an hour and I didn't have to get a fill for almost 4 weeks because they held up so well. I'm disgusted you handled this situation so poorly. I tried to deal with you privately but after your remarks and how you lied and squeezed every dime out of me you could u were not about to come to an agreement. Conversation with Irene was fun and it was great getting to know her a little better while she worked on my lashes. She communicated everything during the whole process so I always knew what was happening next. She's got one of those personalities that brings you comfort and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. These lashes make me feel so beautiful and OMG they save me so much time when I'm getting ready in the morning. Not only are my lashes always fire, but I don't even have to put on mascara - Talk about waking up with sexy eyes every morning but with zero effort! That alone is worth every penny. The salon was easy to find in the Cape and super cute. Crystal chandeliers, silver/ white/ neutral colors decorated the walls. Also, I'd like to add it was super clean and the staff were all wearing masks. Very small, quaint, and adorable. (I'll post my inspo pic and what the results were) I don't remember the guys name but he was nice and decently..professional while he was doing my nails, he offered to give me a discount on my nails and dropped the price to $80, which was greatly appreciated. The shape wasn't what I asked for but I wasn't going to complain because I was just going to buy a nail file and shape them myself because rarely when I would go get my nails done the shape was never what I asked for so I learned to fix them myself. The design was great actually I was very happy with it but my issue is with the integrity of the nails, whatever it's called idk but one popped off the day after I got them done, and I'm PRETTY SURE that means that they weren't done properly because I was just putting stickers on the shelves at work which barely bumping it shouldn't pop the entire nail off including base with no damage to the nail. So I was like oh well whatever and went on with my day, along with the next couple days where a couple more nails popped off. I didn't have a next day off till the following Monday so that's when I called and talked to the guy who said he was put in charge by the owners. Over the phone he said he understood and he believed me and asked me to bring the nails in, I had told him I had already just started picking the other ones off because I don't want them fixed and if possible just half money back, which I understand nobody wants to give a refund on an hour and a half worth of nail work but that's $80 for 4-5 days of nail wear. When I could've just bought $10 press ons and had those last a week. The whole time he held over my head that he could've charged me more but he gave me a discount...and I still would've come back. I would've asked for more back..like damn. Anyways I went in and showed him the nails and pretty much to sum it up he called me a liar. Called another nail tech over to rate his doing on the one single nail I had left on my hand and I had to explain the situation to her. So he sat there called me a liar and told me "you know if you're in a rough spot and really need the money I don't have an issue giving it back" and when I said alright I mean if that's what you wanna hear for me to get a refund and then he told me the policy is "no refunds" then talked her me got extremely rude with me and then asked me what I wanted. So I said calmly. "$40" and he insinuated that I'd have to be down bad to really want that $40 back so I said "ok sure I'm down bad I'm in a rough spot" and he said that's all I had to say and handed me the money. The whole point of this is for someone to do such an absolute shit job on someone's nails and then turn around and embarrass you in front of the other clients in the store?! Don't waste your money here. Don't waste your time.
