History
Established in 1938.
Perkins Lumber was founded in 1938 as Tomlinson Milling Co. in Willmar, MN on its existing site. Changing it's name to Tomlinson-Perkins Lumber in the 1950's the company continued to grow and was instrumental in the growth & development of Willmars south side as a residential contractor/developer as well as a retail building materials outlet. Changing to it's current Perkins Lumber Co. in the 1960's the company continued to grow through further residential development in Willmar primarily on it's southeast side
