Everytime a service was needed, Christina and Nick were right there. The value of my rental trumps the quality but nothing is inadequate.

These people are a complete waste of time. Tons of automated replies-you barely feel human dealing with Christina and Period Realty Trust If you can wade through the continuous automated replies to actually get an email through to Christina, you will think you finally got somewhere. You might even be able to set up a tour. She confirms the tour the evening before for the next morning, and specifies what her car looks like--then first thing in the morning after you've driven to the property she doesn't even show up! No note to tell you she's running late or has to cancel. No text or call or message through Zillow. When you try to contact her there is no response at any of the above or acknowledgement that the property is unavailable. If you value your time at all-don't bother. read more

I would give them a negative star but that's not an option, I reached out to this company so many times, and no one ever called me back, I only received snarky text and an email saying there was a lease agreement, but no attachment, when I text back to Christina she never responded about this. No one has called me back regarding the property in Concord I was inquiring about. This is literally the worst real estate company I've ever heard of, the fact they named themselves "Period" should've said enough. Whoever is listing with this company, I really hope you read all these reviews and go with another realtor. read more

When you call them they won't receive your call.. and when they call they will say straight on your face that they don't want to do any business with you... their service is terrible and the property manager is rude... please don't post online if you don't like people calling you.. If you value your health and safety, DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. Last fall, they sent a masonry crew with a jackhammer to drill cement steps leading to the basement of my building (i.e. part of the foundation). This construction began at 7AM WITH NO WARNING. As you can imagine, most residents were home. I was in the shower when it happened, and it was traumatic. The entire floor of my apartment was vibrating while I stood there, desperate to leave but unable to do so because I had been caught completely by surprise and was only wearing a towel as I had just gotten out of the shower. I couldn't take my hands off my ears to get dressed. A jackhammer drilling cement produces sound at an extremely high decibel level that can cause permanent hearing damage, including tinnitus, a terrible problem the has driven people to suicide (if you've had it, you know). It's true that extremely loud construction like this is sometimes essential to maintain buildings. But, in such cases, residents should be warned so that they can vacate the building ahead of time. Period Realty did not even have the courtesy to warn residents that this extremely dangerous event would be taking place at 7 o'clock in the morning. Clearly they don't have any concern for their residents' safety. At other times, they have used noxious and toxic chemicals in my building without warning (e.g., to reglaze bathtubs -- very toxic). When they do provide a warning, it is about something minor that they don't want you to damage because it might cost them money (e.g., "we will be painting the railing on Tuesday, don't touch it"). They only provide advance warning of heavy-duty construction if they need YOU to do something FOR THEM (e.g., for a period of time a few years ago, everyone in my apartment complex was forced to move their cars in inconvenient configurations at inconvenient times of day so that Period Realty could dig up and repave our parking lot, for no apparent reason except perhaps a tax break). Recently, they installed new lighting in the hallway of my building. The old lights were fine but the new ones emit ultra-powerful white-hot fluorescent light that makes the hallway absolutely excruciating to walk through. I cannot comfortably or safely enter or exit my building without having my retinas burned by these lights. I am certain they have done this to save a few dollars on their electric bills. Yes, real estate is a business, I understand that, but they seem to see their residents as disposable sources of income, not as human beings worthy of respect. They own a lot of property around Concord, MA and are known for providing prompt maintenance. It's true, if your toilet breaks, they'll be there quickly in order to protect their own property. But when it comes to environmental health and safety, they treat their tenants terribly. read more
