Though it is ranked as $$$$, that is only in relation to the other restaurants in the area. You'll pay just a little bit more here than you would or a fish and chips meal in London. The effort and attention to detail the chef, cooks, and owners put into their food, beer/wine list, and ambiance made this restaurant our favorite of our whole European trip. Hamont-Achel is a quirky town that has the feel of a town out of the American 60's, so walking into the restaurant and finding a modern and delicious Italian restaurant was quite a surprise. We enjoyed our meal so much that we went for dinner there twice in a row!

Even just a pizza was still soft and they have put salad with dressing in top. The pasta was cooked even shorter than all dente. They have a nice anti pasti buffet, but you cannot choose by yourself. Instead they decide what they put and charge you 18 euros for a 12 cm diameter plate. The only thing making it two starts is the nice room. Unfortunately, though it is not heated enough, so going in winter should be done with thick pullover. Staff is friendly, but the Parfume cloud is too strong making you having to wait for a moment before eating.
