My wife and I were looking at property in the area from California when we saw that Performance Real Estate had the highest ratings in Kalispell. That prompted us to call Mark Kuhl, the Broker who made us an appointment to meet RICH WOOD. Mark met us in the lobby and introduced us to Nicole, the transaction coordinator, his wife Marcie and Rich. Mark is a patriot and a former military man who served this nation during peace and war. We were very impressed with him from the start. My wife and I had been real estate professionals for many years in 3 other states so we know much about the business. Rich was AMAZING. He was honest, professional and has become a real friend. The first question I asked was what was the best property for the money. His reply was refreshing; he said, "I could show you many properties including some great listings in our own office, but the best property for the price is acreage that I tried to buy myself just outside of town." We drove to the planned gate-guarded neighborhood and walked the lot. We fell in love with the property and though not from Missouri, I told Rich we wanted to see what else was out there to prove it to ourselves. He was very patient with us, sending multiple listings for us to drive by and walk the properties. We saw dozens of listings over a week and a half. In the end, he was absolutely correct. We went home and couldn't get that listing out of our heads. We made an offer, which Rich guided us in price and we all met in the middle. Nicole was amazing as well with all parts of the transaction going smoothly, even with Covid delays. We closed but our relationship with Rich continued. We are far enough away from town but only 15 minutes to Home Depot, Lowes and great restaurants, still at an affordable price per acre.
