Ok, I should be ashamed that I have not finished this review. Here goes: I am a commercial laundromat owner. Therefore, water pressure, water flow, temp etc are Paramount to keeping business open and machines running. Needless to say, on a Saturday my freaking main drain line clogged up. Was it a sock, inner sole of a shoe, thong underwear, bra strap, coins who the hell knows this time. Well, I called several places everyone else quoted me pretty high as well not that I expected great it's on a weekend. Lots of places said they were closed. I got ahold of _________, said he would drive down and make it happen with the latest greatest commercial snake. He arrived on time, and proceeded to review my issue. After checking it out, he proceeded to WINCH, yes I said WINCH that commercial brute out of his van and went to work. The crap he pulled out of that 4 inch main. Socks, other parts of clothing and the main culprit 30 years of degrated coins, that had fused together I imagined the pipe to be like an 85 year old man's arteries that ate bacon for 83 of those years. By the time he was done it was free flowing and looking good. Great guy, very fair price and made sure it was clear running it through couple times. Great job, would recommend this guy anytime. Clearly takes his time to do it right. read more

Used another sewer drain company and a week later it backed up again. Their response was "we didn't guarantee our work" do I contacted Performance Plumbing. A few hours later on a Saturday evening they were there and made absolutely sure it was open. Even said they would come back in next 30 days if it happened again. Recommend them highly. read more

Jacob returned my call the same day and asked that I send a picture of the problem area. After receiving the picture he called backed, made a recommendation, gave me a verbal esitmate and scheduled time the next day. Upon arrival he reviewed the over all problem and made a recommendation to replace an on/off valve (old and worn), and some new pipe that would correct the original problem. After replacing everything he noticed a small leak on one of the couplings, he did all he could to stop the leak but was not successful. He return the next day and disassembled the repaired pipes and reassembled the repaired pipes. The repair is now complete. Jacob explained what the procedure was and there was no surprise when all was completed. I will use Jacob for any future needs. read more

These guys are awesome. I have had a few issues with our sewer and this is by far the best company. Most importantly they have the best auger with 120' line that is very quiet (which is good because they had to come out at 11 pm). It also has a computer that controls it which was pretty fancy and seemed to work perfectly for our situation. They stuck around until the problem was fixed and I felt like I got my money's worth while working with them. Definitely recommend them. read more

Would absolutely recommend Jacob and his company. He answered the phone when I called (no voice mail or need to call back to schedule an appt), came out in the time frame he promised (90 minutes), fixed my clogged sink within an hour, and charged a very reasonable price. My husband and I liked his friendly manner, too. I needed a plumber for this job in the early afternoon on a Friday before a holiday weekend. Jacob was the third plumber I called. The bigger companies I called first told me they could not send anyone until either Saturday or Sunday. My kitchen was basically unusable for cooking since my two-basin sink was stopped up on both sides, so that was not acceptable. I am so glad I kept looking and called Jacob. I will definitely call him again for plumbing problems. read more

Would definitely recommend. Had a clogged toilet and tub on a Sunday afternoon. Called a few places but he gave me the best price for an emergency call and said he could be over in less than 90 minutes. Got my problem fixed, basically in the dark, in less than 45 mins. Great guy and small business owner. Deserves your business. read more

I called for service but got voicemail, so I left a short detailed message. Got a return call within 5 minutes from Jacob. He was working in the area and was finishing up. He came within an hour to clear my clogged kitchen drain. The clog was deep in but he finished in about an hour. He gave us tips to avoid this issue since this is the second time in two years. Great value and service. Thanks Jacob! read more

I had a blocked kitchen drain and the clean-outs are under the house (whaaat???). Jacob came out the same day and was able to access the drain from the Kitchen. He snaked out the pipes and then stayed around to wash the remnants down the drain and make sure that all connected drains flowed smoothly. He is pleasant, knowledgeable, fast and well priced. His number's in my list now, I'll be calling him next time I have drain problems. read more

After online comparison (including Angie's list) we had them remove two old toilets and replace with new. On time, efficient and polite, we were very happy with the service and the price was reasonable. A discovered problem with the floor in the main bath (uneven mounting surface) was pointed out to us. The new toilet seemed solid to me although we were told he would come back if it didn't stay solid over time. Great small company, friendly service and timely. Job done in one day and old toilets taken away. Would definitely hire again. read more

I have never left a review but this guy was amazing. Jacob is the owner of the business and you can tell after spending a little time with him that quality, honesty and fairness are his competitive advantages. Based on our overwhelmingly positive experience, I really can't believe the guy was even available. If the greater Sacramento area has not discovered AAA Performance Plumbing yet, look out Jacob, you will have to hire more staff. Thank you for the attention to detail, friendly service and fair price. read more

I had a burst pipe in the space over my garage & needed an urgent repair. Of course I didn't identify the problem until late in the day and I was worried I couldn't get it fixed until the following day. Jacob was extremely helpful - he came over within an hour of my call. He got to my house around 5 pm and got to work immediately to fix the problem. The fee was reasonable and within a few hours, all was well again. I appreciate his quick response, fair pricing, and willingness to help out very late in the day! I highly recommend Jacob & Performance Plumbing. read more

I heard Jacob was a cheap and flexible plumber. I ended up feeling like my time didn't matter and he didn't want to help. On a Friday, Jacob mentioned he could come in on saturday but "had a family". Totally understandable! We're more than okay and understanding. Monday instead, he had to change times once and we were okay with that. He asked "if something was stuck, I'd have to take the whole toilet off." I soon texted something was stuck, inferring he would know to remove the toilet. He saw. Come Monday Jacob arrives hours before scheduled. That is okay, I wouldnt take a star off but after talking to him it was a clear disregard for a customer's time. He is "booked until Friday". With no fixation on customer service. He changed schedule multiple times and without communication arrived, he was condescending and carless or without empathy. He knew what the job entailed and was not prepared to finish it in a timely manner. For one of those, and a job finished I would give a lot more stars. For all of those, one. read more

Jacob is the owner of Performance Plumbing. As such, he has a keen interest in providing professional, satisfactory plumbing services--and in my case, he certainly did. He and his son arrived the same day I called, even though it was not an emergency situation. They were both very nice and quite professional, and Jacob explained all that was needed. The price I paid included the cost of all parts, including a really nice Kohler toilet. I am very happy with the work done and very happy I contacted Performance Plumbing. read more

I had a bad smell coming from my kitchen/family room area near the sink and coming up through the vents. I was looking for a plumber, read the reviews, and decided to call PP. excellent job done by aaa performance plumbing. jacob fixed two toilets and a loose bathroom faucet. nicely done, nicely priced and nice and neat job. a few months ago we had another plumber from boyd plumbing that couldn't fix the bathroom faucet without replacing the whole faucet which was an additional $400.00 which we declined and continued to shop around and we're glad we did. we will keep aaa performance plumbing in mind for any future plumbing issues. read more

Jacob came out on a Sunday evening when other plumbers I called weren't able to. I appreciated that. He was very knowledgeable and explained things in a way I could understand. He fixed my leaking pipe in a reasonable amount of time and was very thorough. He was also really friendly and personable. I normally try to get quotes to compare costs of a job but couldn't this time. Overall I was very happy with his service. read more

Jacob was awesome. I chose him because I appreciated that he was the owner and the one doing the work, and his good communication and high work standards proved me right. He confirmed our appointment via text on the day he was scheduled to come and was right on time. We had terrible water pressure in our kitchen sink and two showers, as well as a problem with the drain in the bathroom sink. The water pressure problem involved a lot of trouble shooting to figure out what was wrong, and Jacob was incredibly persistent and creative really in finding a solution. In the end he managed to fix the kitchen faucet and save me having to replace what was a relatively new faucet (and $100+). I was really impressed with the time he took to be thorough, to do the job right, and to show me what he was doing and let me learn from watching. I will definitely call him again and highly recommend him for any plumbing job. read more

Jacob is AMAZING! He's saved me so many times from disasters that with any other plumber would cost a fortune. He's honest, reliable and very affordable. He's also very reassuring! After having read some excellent reviews about Performance Plumbing at Angie' List about two years ago, I have been using Jacob, who is the owner plumber, for several plumbing repairs, big and small, for my rental houses. I have been very satisfied with his services and impressed with his knowledge and abilities in fixing various plumbing issues. He did the jobs right the first time! His fee is reasonable, and he did not charge me up charge for parts. Unlike some big plumbing companies, which usually hired independent contractors to do the actual work, thus overcharged customers. I would recommend Jacob, if you have plumbing problems you don't want to fix yourselves. read more
