We knew, at that time, that our Heating and Cooling system was 17 years old and would need to be replaced even though the home inspector and the company maintaining it assured us that it was good for years. We started having trouble with it and looked for a Trane Dealer in this area. Because of Tom's and Trane's reputations, we chose American Heating and Cooling. Tom was extremely helpful in guiding us to a heat pump, air handler and smart thermostat, as well as, a filtration system with UV light that would fit our home and be extremely efficient but, at the same time, was not overkill and overpriced. Between the time we ordered the system and its delivery from the factory in the United States, we started having more trouble with our old system. Tom came out the day we called him, fixed the system and kept us cool in the extreme heat we were having at the time. Tom and his crew did an excellent job installing the new system. They were timely, efficient and very considerate of us and our home. During the install they had to tie into our old duct work. Well, I called several places everyone else quoted me pretty high as well not that I expected great it's on a weekend. Lots of places said they were closed. I got ahold of _________, said he would drive down and make it happen with the latest greatest commercial snake. He arrived on time, and proceeded to review my issue. After checking it out, he proceeded to WINCH, yes I said WINCH that commercial brute out of his van and went to work. The crap he pulled out of that 4 inch main. Socks, other parts of clothing and the main culprit 30 years of degrated coins, that had fused together I imagined the pipe to be like an 85 year old man's arteries that ate bacon for 83 of those years. By the time he was done it was free flowing and looking good. Great guy, very fair price and made sure it was clear running it through couple times. Great job, would recommend this guy anytime. My toilet has been clogged since Saturday and believe it or not, A+ Plumbing were the first plumbers to even want to come out and check the clog. We are new to the area so I went to the Yellow Pages for info, since there were hardly any reviewed plumbers. I started on the first page and started calling for estimates. See all those BIG fancy ads on the plumbers page? I called four of the biggest and not one came out. The first one said "Call me back and leave your info, I'll be by this afternoon." Nothing, he never came, he never called. I had one of the biggest shops give me advice on how to unclog the toilet MYSELF!! Oh Lordy!! Finally, I took a chance and called one of the plumbers with the small ad on the second page of shops. Bingo!!! I talked to Dave the owner who said his coworker Mark, would be out shortly. AND HE WAS THERE WITHIN THE HOUR. Eventually, Dave had to come out and work on the access pipe outside the house and within 3hrs of my phone call, my problem had been solved!! Didn't have items they needed to do the job. Had to use something I had. They were gone longer than it took to the job. Said they wouldn't charge for time away but they did. Found out later most companies replace both thermostat and heating element when doing this type of work. They only did the element. Had to clean up area around the heater after they left.
