He was efficient, communicative and made my coworkers and I feel safe and at ease. I have since hired him four or five different times for numerous projects at my home. He has proven knowledgeable, willing to find answers on things that may not have been his area of expertise, and to help me problem solve and troubleshoot many things, even outside of plumbing (but within the construction field). He is respectful, trustworthy, and I have seen him interact professionally with my dogs and children as he came and went on some of my extended projects. Again, he made us all feel safe, and comfortable, as he worked, from start to finish. He installed a new drop in sink for us back in January as well as a filtration faucet and a main kitchen faucet. Good communication throughout his process and if he needed an extra part, he would give us a heads up ahead of time. Recently, our main faucet had begun leaking and flooded our countertops and under sink. Wenger plumbing helped us diagnose the problem and they took care of it within a timely manner despite their swamped schedules. Very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this company. I approved for the HOA to pay for the fix since was on the main line and a holiday. Guy, the owner of Doctor Rooter then became my friend all of a sudden since I was paying the bills. He claimed to me he had 44 years experience. I heard this a dozen times. I thought the problem was fixed after I paid him $12,000 dollars as he said it was. The problem was still was not fixed. The pipes backed up again. He wanted another $8600 to continue on to fix the problem. At that time I figured out he was full of it and trying to take advantage of us. I had a real plumber come out and he videoed the pipes, I had them dig up what Doctor Rooter already dug up and we found all his repairs were done incorrectly and was the root of the problem. And we found the clog right next to where he dug up. Guy is a lier and does not know what he is doing and will charge you a ton and lie to you about the fix. He will take advantage of you also. He also took advantage of elder people as all of them are older than 70 years old. I would highly recommend to not use Doctor Rooter!!!!!! We now have a special assessment to pay now. WHat should have cost around $5000.00 to fix cost us $16000.00 to fix and he was going to charge us $21000.00. Stay away for Guy and Doctor Rooter.

Comfort Care's bid was for a Bryant 4 T, 15 seer system and came in at just over $10,000.00. Honest Abe's provided me with 6 options all featuring "Goodman" products. They ranked their options as: Brass, Copper, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum with the Brass being the least expensive and Platinum being the most expensive. The Brass, Copper, and Bronze systems were all 3.5 T, 13 seer systems and the Silver, Gold, and Platinum systems were for 3.5 T, 14 seer systems. The Brass bid came in at just over $14,000.00 all the way up to the Platinum bid which came in at just over $21,000.00. I gave them the courtesy of sending them an email letting them know that they were not competitive this time and I would be going with another provider. Since then they have been sending unwanted text messages. The last one informing me that they now have discounts that can be applied. I called today to request that they please stop sending text messages. I was informed that it was my job to stop the messages by responding "STOP" to them. Nowhere in the sent text messages does it mention as much.
