Disappointed, I have no problem in waiting, but to be told repeatedly that my job will be done, and eventually having to pick up my seat undone, losing almost two months does not make for a good business review. My husband and I contracted Fernando over 1-1/2 years ago to do the custom interior of our Restomod 1965 Mustang. There was one excuse after another as to why it was not completed in a timely fashion and it came down to litigious threats to get back shotty workmanship. Now after all of this time we have to pay someone else to redo and complete his second rate craftsmanship. Read other 5 star reviews which is why we went with him but it turned out to be a nightmare. If you want your grandmothers pilllow sewn and can wait a long time, he's your guy. If you need custom work and don't expect a 1 1/2 year wait then you should go elsewhere. Very disappointed!! I have a 2000 honda civic hatchback, is already 3 years that I'm trying to get my stuff back form Fernando. I give him 1 head liner, 2 door panels, 2 sun visors, 1 hatchback cargo cover and 1 armrest. I had to harass this guy and send my friends out to pick up my door panels, the head liner i already got back from him. I'm still missing 2 sun visors, 1 hatchback cargo cover, armrest. I told him i just want my stuff back because I moving up Central Florida and that was like 5 months ago and still doesn't reply to my texts or calls like always. Once I do get in contact with him, his excuses is always my wife is in the hospital, a family emergency or death in the family for the pass 3 years. He always use the wife is in the hospital alot and when I pass by the shop on trying to pick up my parts. I see his wife there. I just want my stuff back, is very very hard to find these parts and expensive because the car is discontinue. Be very careful with this guy, I hope he doesn't sold my parts. I have a 2010 Lexus RX 350 that looked liked someone had taken a knife to the two front seats. I wanted to keep the car for a couple more years as the car looked good (other than the front seats) and is running well. Did a little shopping around to see who in my area did car upholstery and found Perfect Upholstery on Yelp. I must say I was hesitant at first, not quite sure how the seats would turn out. My car looks brand new! Fernando did a quality job. I would highly recommend him. His prices are reasonable and his work is excellent. More importantly, he makes you feel comfortable and reassured. I am honestly so amazed with Fernando and his work. I get nervous when it comes to work on my car because I question people's intentions and quality. Fernando's work is absolutely stunning. The cloth on the roof of my 2010 Jetta was falling down and he fixed it within the same day for a very good price. He and his wife are so nice and made sure I loved it before I paid. I recommend him a million times over; my car now looks brand new. He is very trustworthy and does great work. Took my classic car to Perfect to have seats re-upholstered, spent 40 min with Fernando (owner) he told me he call me back with quote. 6 weeks later still waiting for that call. I called him several times to follow up, different excuse every time and he never called back, not a man of his word, unprofessional. Great service!! The inside roof of my car/material was coming off. He told me that it could have fallen at any time which is true and could have caused an accident. I bought the car used.
