Their billing department has ISSUES. They billed my old insurance and I have made multiple calls to the office as well as calling the "Collections Dept". I called MET LIFE and they inadvertently paid on the wrong policy, and sent a letter in May (2 months ago) asking for the money to be returned. Not only were they PAID, but they also sent the entire amount to collections. I drove to the Office and asked again to FIX this.. Disgusting that I had to make numerous calls and physically drive there to attempt to get them to BILL the correct Policy (also Met Life) $395 is a lot of money to me. They kept the payment and sent me to collections. read more

Went to the Ken Caryl office, Val, the receptionist is accomodating & knowledgeable & friendly. Dr. D. Jankovic is so gentle with my mouth and so careful not to cause any pain (as I have really bad anxiety). She had worked on my father years back and eventually myself when I decided to start back getting dental work. I stopped going after she had fixed my problem because I was so busy and other issues with my body had to be addressed and had no longer any reason to go back until several years later, which is now, I started having trouble with my teeth (my fault). I searched and searched looking for dentists as she had moved from old location. I reviewed customers reviews on several dentists as I really had to fix my teeth. Finally!! I found her, got in to see her. She remembered me, took care of my problem, again, was so careful not to cause me pain. I'm so happy!!! read more

Dr Jankovic is amazing. HOWEVER - they can't get their billing issues under control. They billed two appointments to my old insurance. I called the local office and provided (again) new insurance info several times; I called the corporate Perfect Teeth multiple times for the same. Collection letters and very aggressive collection phone calls continued. I finally went to the office in person to watch the new girl correct things (she is friendly, and I understand inheriting a mess). However, after looking at my current insurance plan documents again, I can see that she still charged me more than I should have been charged, and then a week later I got another collections letter for the full original amount! I'm sad because I really do love the dentist, but I can't go back due to the billing mess. I even filed a BBB complaint, and this office never replied to the BBB. Friendly staff, but sadly not worth the possible hits to your credit report and sanity. read more

NEVER EVER GO HERE. ABSOLUTE HORRID DENTIST AND STAFF. Absolute awful service in May. The dr cut the roof of my mouth, caused tears, and then (because I have anxiety) it induced a panic attack, and I politely asked to take a break. I was calming myself down, especially as the dentist was an asshole and couldn't care less about the care of her patients. She came to me and said "this is too much. I've never had a patient cry". I walked out of there, in pain and embarrassed. The receptionist said that the manager would be in contact, and I was to get my money back. THEY LIED. They could not care less about the satisfaction of their patients. I went to another dentist, explained my last experience and that I was feeling anxious about the dentist now, and they provided comfort, and help me through my issues. A couple of my peers also experienced similar issues and behaviors of the "dentist" (with her lack of bedside manner and knowledge I question if she has a license). Awful awful awful. read more

The dentist and the staff are always friendly, courteous, and always happy to see me. The dentist is amazing, she takes her time to explain and answers all my questions patiently. This was my first time to this location, moving from W 34th location. It was terrible!! Although the location was clean! The hygienist was so rough, she made my gums, lip and tongue bleed from the flossing. I told her it hurt and was uncomfortable, she muttered "sorry" and kept going. She had the cleaning toothpaste all over my face and hair. Then they had another hygienist come in and do more work. Never had more than one. Then the dentist comes in, she was nice and respectful. Although, after I told her once I wasn't interested in Invisalign, she kept going and asking and asking about it. She tried telling me more about it. I had to firmly tell her no. The front desk was nice as well but then tried to push the Invisalign again!! She even tried to hand me paperwork for it! Like they didn't get it the first time. Conclusion, I will be driving the 45 minutes to go back to my old location. read more

Disappointing. Was given an estimate, had the procedure completed. Two months later I get another bill for services not covered by my insurance. I've already paid twice. Way over the initial estimate. I got charged for PPE and irrigation. Seriously??? The office is run down, but I thought I'd give them a chance. Clean the bugs out of the ceiling lights. Fix the broken monitor. Paint. And no one EVER answers the phone. Fillings are supposed to be smooth not rough, they told me to make an appointment to get them fixed. I guess so they can charge me again??? Ridiculous. read more

The equipment and the facility itself is very outdated and seems a little run down. Given the quality of the staff, I think this place would be top notch if they had the proper tools. I initially gave one star, but I am changing it because the staff deserves far better than that. read more

This is my first time at Perfect Teeth. An excellent experience! After my long time dentist of 20 years retired, I tried a national chain whose goal was to sell me services. I was reluctant to go to a dentist again after having this bad experience. I'm thrilled with the honesty and professionalism I received at the Ken Caryl Perfect Teeth. The hygienist, Troye was fantastic and I appreciated the candor of the dentist. The only reason I gave this 3 stars and not 4 is because I never saw the x-rays or an explanation of them. I figured they were ok, but it would be nice if someone confirmed that. I am signing up for their insurance plan and sending my family to this office. Having a two year old that needs to start seeing the dentist can be kind of stressful but they made us feel very welcome and most importantly they didn't rush my son into anything and didn't make him do anything he didn't want to. I recently moved to the area and searched all over for a new dentist. I'm so glad to have chosen Perfect Teeth because I had a very pleasant experience. All of the staff are so friendly. The x-ray process is rather slow and tedious. But, the hygienist was gentle and considerate of me. The dentist clearly explained things to me. Overall, I'm very satisfied. read more

Aboslutely horrible service. I made the mistake of going to somewhere close to where I lived. Man was that a mistake. Every time I went it was at least an hour and half. The doctors float between multiple patients and you wait sometimes fifteen minutes between stages of your treatment. What made it even worse was I had a crown done completely wrong which took four visits to finally seat correctly and twelve shots within a two week span. I was completely miserable. What is worse, I specifically asked them to make sure they received the correct crown as they had ordered a previous one that they figured out would be too high to seat. They said they checked but they didn't. I had to come back yet again. To top it off, the manager was completely unsympathetic and basically blamed me for needing shots to have the procedure and didn't offer any remediation.
