I am a hvac installer and I have done so off and on for a few years since 2006, but there have always been certain things I didn't understand completely as far as how the residential air conditioning system worked. This school showed me and explained a lot of the things I didn't understand like refrigeration cycle I now know the specifics of how the cycle works and can better explain it when a home owner ask how it works this is because the teachers now only had the knowledge that I was missing but they also explain it to you in a way that makes it easy to understand or more than once if needed and they break it down for you if need be. I also learned about static pressures which I never even knew existed and the hands on training was extremely awesome just because I've always been a hands on learner. This school and the awesomely knowledgeable teachers have made me a lot more knowledgeable in my career field and I appreciate every bit of it and I now apply it every day in the field so thank y'all. And they taught a lot more but I could go on all day with all the great ways and things they have taught me bottom line is this school and the teachers are a great experience and great so I encourage anyone who wants to learn a new career or more about this trade to attend this school I promise you will not be disappointed thanks again perfect technician academy. read more

I've been in the HVAC industry for some years now as an installation technician and I never really had a good understanding of how the refrigeration cycle works,the school really helped me understand the process of the refrigeration cycle and how it works and how each key element is important to the systems functionality. I also learned about a lot of things that are not commonly discussed in the basic learning in the HVAC industry such as latent heat,sensible heat,static pressures,convection,radiation etc. When first hearing about these different modes of heat transfer and airflow I found myself sort of dumbfounded. But with the help of the incredibly experienced teachers at the perfect technician Academy and the hands-on training that is provided to you I really got a better understanding of how all of this works and knowing this will not only better me in the installation field that I'm currently in but will also better me when I move to the service department. This is also giving me a lot greater confidence when I walk into a home owners house and thus making me better and more efficient in my work. If anyone is looking at this and wondering how real or ever how great, let me tell you it's very real and very great. Those were my thoughts before beginning this program. Just how real is this program and how do they compare with any other program for HVAC out there. I couldn't imagine how great the experience would be. You'll meet cool people and have a group of people who are dedicated in helping you understand this HVAC service field. To include, I don't think I'm brilliant but the way my instructor Brady taught the class, just following along and doing the homework you'll make 85 average. I was blown away by the amount of knowledge that I took away from this class. I came into perfect technician academy with virtualy no experience working on HVAC systems. Brian Hobson is an amazing instructor very patient and knowledgeable. What makes him a unique individual is his time in the field spent.
