We met with other photographers, but I found myself comparing their portfolios to hers. Her eye for detail and unique photos is impressive! Margaret is professional, listened to our wishes and was able to take amazing photos while barely noticing her presence which was important to us with only having 9 guests! We were undecided on a place to take bride and groom photos after our ceremony. Margaret went out of her way and to help us find the perfect spot with an amazing view! On our wedding day Margaret arrived early and got right to work finding a perfect spot to photograph my dress! I sent Margaret a link to photos I liked and I could tell she paid close attention to all of them. Come wedding day, I found her directing us effortlessly in those poses and others that made us feel like models! My mom is also into photography and couldn't help but take pictures of us throughout the day. Margaret did not mind at all and actually got some really fun pictures of my mom taking pictures of the group. Margaret is also very personable and chatted with our group without missing any photo opportunity! At the end of our wedding day, Margaret asked permission to post a sneak peek of our photos on Facebook. They were perfect! She sent us our final photographs before they were promised via a website that made it easy to download each shot in HD and share with family and friends! We are so appreciative that Margaret agreed to be our photographer! Thanks to Margaret we have gorgeous photos to remember our wedding day forever! After Picture People unexpectedly closed down literally the day after I had booked an appointment…read morewith them, I found myself in need of a photographer to shoot my youngest son's first birthday portraits. And everything close by was 200+ dollars for the session alone with the pictures being extra. But then I found this place in the Walmart in Concord and I'm so glad I did. The photographer, who I believe was also the manager, was awesome with my son. She did lots of backgrounds and poses and was able to get lots of smiles out of him, which can sometimes be difficult because he occasionally gets shy around strangers. And I loved the prices. The picture package I purchased would have easily been $40 more at Picture People, and I got to leave with printed pictures and flash drive of my son's session. I will definitely be back.

I recall all the hoopla we went through as a family when trying to decide on a photographer for my son's senior year yearbook photos. When you think about it, your high school senior picture is the one picture that more people will ever see of you I like to get recommendations from friends & family when I am looking for something new where I have little experience. My wife and I actively seek out online feedback from previous customers whenever possible. Previous customers are the most accurate measure of satisfaction possible, in my opinion. Therefore, I have no problem recommendations of my own when I have had positive experiences. I can tell you that after spending considerable time researching photographers, Studio Mark Emile was the CLEAR winner. Obviously he is a skilled photographer, but he also provided several other benefits that others could not or would not match: 1. He did a great job at putting my son at ease during the shoot. The photographer-subject banter brought out the best in images of my son. It wasn't a stale, sterile studio environment 2. Mark encourages the student to bring in props for the shoot. Although my son did not choose to go this route, Mark has photographed kids in ballet outfits, with their dogs, playing musical instruments... almost any hobby or sport the student wants to use. 3. Even better, Mark shoots "on location". He took my son around downtown Nashua and captured some great urban shots emphasizing New England nineteenth century brick structures. He also snapped some cool shots down by the river that goes through the city. He's been known to do shoots at beaches, in the woods, and almost any location provided it fits his schedule. Does your photographer do this? 4. Mark works directly with the school yearbook publisher so you don't have to worry about submitting files or missing deadlines. This is a very nice touch! 5. Finally, Studio Mark Emile offers a generous referral program. Only a few referrals and your session can be free! A student at Tony's school referred us. Let me put it this way: we will be using Studio Mark Emile again for our daughter for her senior yearbook photos. We worked with Seacoast Events to provide draping and Edison bulb lighting for the ceremony and…read morecocktail hour spaces at our wedding. Although everything went smoothly on the wedding day, communication issues leading up to the event made working with this vendor unnecessarily difficult and stressful. On the wedding day, their team arrived on time and handled the setup quite well. While we didn't communicate with them much in person on that day, everything looked gorgeous and was ready right when it needed to be. They also returned that evening to take everything down without any issues. However, we had major issues communicating with Seacoast Events. Right before we were going to sign our contract, we stopped hearing from them altogether. We emailed and called them numerous times for almost three weeks with no response. We even dialed their extension to speak with the manager on duty, and never got a response there either. After we had one of our other wedding vendors contact them on our behalf, they immediately sent a generic bounce back message explaining that an employee was on vacation and couldn't respond to emails easily. The message also said to call the same number and extension as we did before to speak with the manager on duty, which of course did not work. When we did finally get a real response, it just contained an excuse to not send the contract because a piece of information was missing in our last message to them from before the vacation. At no point did this employee even address the fact that they failed to explain that they were going to be on vacation for four weeks before letting us sign a contract. Although this all worked out in the end, it was a difficult process. We were fortunate to have them respond to us and sign a contract just in time for the wedding, but it could easily have not worked out that way. If you are going to work with this vendor, then we would at least recommend reaching out to them far in advance, especially if it is for an event as important as a wedding.

Gotta say, I loved Glen. He made my night…read more He was one of the two dealers manning the Craps table during our event. I was a Craps newbie. Never mind Craps, I am just not a gambler. During my last trip to Vegas, I was out there for 2 reasons: food, and shows. Oh, and checking out the decorations at the casinos for Chinese New Year. Before our Casino Night party, I had checked out the wikiHow link on How to Play Craps that was kindly and wisely provided by our event coordinators in advance, and was utterly flabbergasted. I just could not wrap my mind around the game! I figured that Craps would be my nemesis, so I would just watch some poker, pick a few colors on the roulette wheel, and otherwise busy myself with Blackjack if I could count up to 21 quickly enough in my head. Screams of excitement drew me towards the Craps table. And after watching a bit and seeing how the dealer was helping my end of the table learn the game, I decided to jump on in, and was instantly provided with the starter set of chips each player was granted for the night. With no actual skin in the game, but with a real prize on the line (in addition to just beating the boss), I played, attempting to listen to Glen as he taught us the game - when and how to bet. When one player asked him how he knew how to pay off our bids so quickly, he also started giving out lessons on how to deal, during which, he would take over the bidding of the student's pot. I was the lucky third (or was it fourth?) student. And he was bold in his bids, which I carried on, matching his highest bids when I was once again responsible for my own chips. It probably also helped that I had no idea what the value were of each of the colors! As another attendee phrased it: I'm not a gambler, so I wasn't sure I would have fun. But we all had a great time!
