Im a bit (only two years) late in writing this review but better late than never, right?…read more I didn't want photos to be cumbersome, I just wanted to enjoy my wedding day. Joan was recommended to me by a friend and I never actually met her until my wedding day, but she immediately felt like an old friend there to enjoy our special day with us. She made me (and my husband, who is camera shy) feel comfortable in front of her camera, which I know isn't always easy. Taking pictures didn't feel like a chore because we spent the whole day laughing (and crying) while taking them. She captured the most special day of my life so beautifully and I will forever cherish those memories. Joan sent us sneak peeks the night of the wedding which of course prompted more tears. She sent a few more teasers along the way and then we had the full gallery within a month of our wedding day. By the time she was done editing there were still 600+ of them and somehow even with that many - each photo told a story. I printed some for a photo album and before I knew it I had 400+ prints so it's clear I loved her work. I highly recommend Joan for any event!

We had reached out to a few DJ's, but Eric had the best rates/packages & all 5-star reviews. He helped us out with a questionnaire to get started & fine-tune the package for our day. We went with the Party Package, added an extra hour & he cut us a fair deal to supply music & a microphone for our ceremony (located down a field by the Connecticut River). Eric is prompt with answering emails & phone calls. We had a FaceTime chat for about 90 mins so that we could "meet" him & talk more about what we needed. He has great ideas & can be trusted to play suitable music for any crowd. Our wedding guests were an average age of 50-ish; he played some of the classic wedding dance music. He also listened to us with our "Do Not Play" list which is very important. Like, he even agreed that our list was agreeable & wouldn't want the songs played at his wedding, either. I'd say Eric is more than a DJ; he is also a great coordinator. I saw him teaming up with our photographer to make sure things were smooth. He interacted with guests & was walking around to announce what was happening next & telling tables when it was their turn to go up to get their dinner. I felt completely at ease & loved that Eric was so in control. All in all, I plan to recommend Eric to other couples for their wedding. HE IS WORTH EVERY CENT!
