Our daughter's hockey team was hosting a golf outing, and with everything going on between myself and the other volunteers, we completely dropped the ball and forgot to pick up the signs we had ordered. The night before the outing, while at the girls' hockey game, we suddenly realized no one had them. Panic set in. Out of desperation, I sent them a message on Facebook--fully expecting either no reply or, at best, a "sorry, nothing we can do." To my absolute surprise, within 10 minutes they responded. Not only did they reassure me, but they immediately offered solutions. While we were scrambling to see if someone nearby could grab the signs, they asked where we were--and when I told them we were at the game, they went above and beyond. They actually offered to bring the signs to us. After the game, they met me at my house and delivered them personally. I was floored. They easily could have said, "Sorry, we'll see you Monday," and I would have understood. Instead, they went out of their way, on their own time, to make sure our team was taken care of. That kind of service is almost unheard of these days. What they did was not just customer service--it was genuine kindness, and it meant the world to us. They saved our event, and for that I will be forever grateful. I will recommend MI Custom Signs to everyone I know, and I will never forget how they stepped up when they didn't have to. Avoid this place like the plague. Especially if you're working with a deadline! ASAP Signs was late…read moreby almost two weeks on an order that was no more than one 2x5 banner. Management and employees need to take a training course in customer service as they were less than competent in this area. As time passed without the banner that was paid for we called requesting updates as to when we might expect a finished product. We received nothing but lies and false promises as to when the job would be complete. Maybe our order wasn't large enough for ASAP Signs to consider important. When we expressed our dissatisfaction and explained that we would never again use ASAP Signs for any future printing needs we were shrugged off with an I don't care attitude. Here's one time where trying to support local business didn't pay off. On top of all that the banner had smudges from finger prints as this was finished so late it was removed from the printer and handed off shortly after, in a rush.
