I was pleasantly surprised by Sarah and the owners that were in there! It was obvious that the owners take pride in their shop as they were actively working on improvements and discussing what would look best. Sarah has mentioned that it was actually her day off, but she was working a bit anyways. To me, that shows a great place to work......someone willing to work in their day off says a lot needless to say the hubby got brownie points and i am happy to have a local business to support!

I told her what I've historically done with my color and we talked about what the options were and I kind of let her do what she felt would look good. SHE's the expert! & she proved herself to be such! I am SO happy with the results!!! She was very thoughtful in the time she spent with me, so much so that I was almost impressed and felt bad that she did b/c time is money, right? But, she really did an amazing job. She was very thoughtful in the time she spent with me, very communicative when she needed to bounce in and out with other clients (which I was NOT unaccustomed to, so I almost expected that would be the case prior to my visit) and she was very mindful to what my preference would be, what my hair would tolerate well and also what would work with my hair and current color. She's SO easy to talk to and REALLY makes the time so by FAST! The salon itself is in a very conspicuous and deceiving complex. I was wondering if I was in the right place when I arrived, but I went in the front door and was shocked and surprised by the inside. The front looks kind of ... oddly abandoned and commercial and industrial... but when you go inside the lobby is super nice!!! You have to go through the entire lobby and curve left to get to the salon. The prices are SO fair! I haven't been to ANY salon that's offered this kind of thoughtful and attentive service coupled with this level of fair prices. I WILL be back! I can guarantee that!

My beard trim looked perfect and the level of service here is way nicer than the cookie-cutter hair salons that dot the landscape. Her flexible and easy scheduling allowed me to come after work or on Saturdays with minimal life disruption and maximum privacy. Success was achieved by following Toni's recommended plan of weekly sessions until my facial hair went through its growth cycles. From there, I scaled back to every other week, then monthly. This took about eight months, but everyone is different and my case was severe. Now, I pop in every few months for a touch up. While the process isn't super fun, there are numbing creams to help ease the short-lived discomfort. Mostly, the relief of going on vacation without worrying about hair growth and facing aging with one less stressor made it worthwhile. Because I had been plucking for years, I had never seen how severe my facial hair situation was. At first, it seemed like the same hair was growing back over and over, but it was new hair cycling through. With patience and persistence, she worked through one follicle at a time until all the offenders were dead. My face feels smooth and great. I get a lot of time back that I used to spend on plucking and waxing and worrying about waking up from a coma with a full mustache and goatee. Thanks, Toni!
