Once seated, two of us enjoyed the escargot, which was just perfect. A shrimp cocktail was also very good and fresh. We all enjoyed the huge salad bar for dinner, which never disappoints! Very fresh and plenty of delicious veggies and salads to make it your own. The location being right on the intercostal makes the seaside ambiance so enjoyable. We started out with a chocolate martini & a Whispering Angel Rose. Both were refreshing and very celebratory for my friends birthday. Since it was lunch, we went straight to entrees. My husband had the Strawberry Field salad with shrimp. Beautifully crisp and delicious. The shrimp were cooked perfectly even if the salad should have had less dressing. The birthday girl had the short rib grilled cheese which looked exactly like the pictures. She managed to eat the whole thing. I had the steamed clams. The presentation was totally unexpected. It had a pizza dough topper that was puffed up with the clams, linguica & broth nice and steamy underneath. It was an amazing preparation and the dough helped tame some of the spiciness from the linguica. We all said we would come back. I would give this restaurant a solid 4.5 stars as the refill of our water was a big sluggish. Since you cannot rate in 1/2 star increments, I gave it a 5.

Cigar Lounge Decent…read morecigar lounges are hard to come by on the Treasure Coast and a buddy of mine pointed me to Black Dog to try. The place is easy to miss as it blends in a little to well with the shopping center it is sitting in - but I managed and went in. Owner is just very friendly person and since I had never been there, he showed me around the large humidor and we worked out a smoke to try based on my tastes. There is a large selection of brands in there and they also rep an extensive Perdomo line up as well. I settled in to one of the comfy seats and fired up. They have a Wine / beer bar offering there and a few tv's with sports. The crowd there seemed to be fairly regular but they all chatted with me as I sat there smoking - so it was a very comfortable experience. Turns out that the Black Dog cigar lounge does in fact, have a black dog hanging around as well. Forgot his name, but he is friendly. An overall very good experience and I will be putting more time in there. Parking in front.
