Have…read morebeen seeing Dr. Hoffman for over 5 years now, and never have I been told I can't speak to Dr. Hoffman, or not even honor a request to have her call me at her convenience, until today. All I got was an egotistical administrator, who raved about working in the office for 9 years, that refused to even contact my insurance company in reference to an adjustment in a referral, which is what the insurance company told me to have my pcp do. Sad..I'll be changing pcp's once this ordeal is over with, because Dr. Hoffman herself is actually a good physician! Too bad her staff's ego ruined this relationship.. then again, I'm sure it's no loss to them, as I'm sure another patient will walk in, thus having them bleed another individuals insurance benefits.. steer clear!

I had an unexpected diagnosis that was caught thanks to him letting me get tests done. He's been very compassionate and personable. The space is always super clean and the nurses are very nice. I only knocked one star down for the wait time and there's no parking validation like most offices. Overall, this place is great! I highly recommend to anyone looking!

The issue that I have with the office is that they don't have an online portal like other doctors where you can leave a question and the Dr responds. Every Dr office I have been to has a better to communicate with the Dr. Also, Dr. Cornell is not in the office very often and it's very difficult to get an appointment. He splits his time between another office that is outside of Houston. Every time that I saw the Dr, he was so busy that he came into the room quickly, scoped me left without any time for questions or discussion of planned treatment. I prefer a Dr that will say hello and ask how I am doing and allow me to speak and ask questions. He is very well educated but doesn't know the latest treatments.

As someone mentioned, she does have a medical home fee (which IS listed prominently on her website, by the way) and that fee is something becoming more common with doctors today. Why? Insurance has not only run up costs for consumers but for practitioners as well. That fee ensures that she has the bandwidth to care for her patient load. While I'm not someone who loves to part with my money, I welcome this commitment to her practice because it ensures that our doctor can do their job without financial and logistical barriers.
