After searching though every shop in Canterbury and being unable to find shoes for my daughters' (wide feet) I went to Peter Newman's as a last hope and was pleasantly suprised. Not only did they have a great selection of sizes and styles but their prices were fantastic. The staff are so helpful and spent over half an hour (at least) finding the right shoes. I bought two pairs of top brand makes (Sart-rite and Hush Puppies) for under £30. Bargain!

Stock does change frequently and so you do need to visit the shop regularly to ensure you get your size. Sizes can come up on the small size. The children's clothes stocked here are beautiful, if a td on the expensive side (only in relation to children's tendancy to spill things and grow). This shop also stocks shoes/boots and jewellery.

I have bought a couple of items from here not only have they been quite overpriced they have fallen to bits withing weeks. some items didnt even make it through a wash! There accessories are incredibly tacky and cost at least double to what they should ! You can not enter the shop without the bloke rushing over asking if he can help you and doesnt tollerate children very well! i think in futre ill stick to new look !
