Do NOT go here!!!!! For Pete's sake, people: before you consider any school you have to do some homework. I wish I would have checked the Better Business Bureau's website before ever getting involved with this shady place. I am giving this business one star only because zero stars was not an option. PERCOM, at first glance, looks and sounds like a great place to start your medical career off with online training followed by clinical rotations and your state boards. If ONLY! The first thing you should know is that you can never pick up the phone and talk to anyone (ANYONE!) in this company. Instead, you call their number and leave a message. And then another message. And another. And maybe the person you need to talk to will call you back. Or not. So after not receiving a call back, you'll resort to email, thinking it's faster and that someone will get back to you to resolve your issue or answer a question. In theory, this sounds great until 3-4 weeks go by and nothing. No call. No email. No answers. Nothing. By this time, you'll be questioning why on earth you paid these people $1300 and wonder if it's a scam. It's at this point you finally check the Better Business Bureau's website and see the LIST of complaint files against PERCOM and know you are not alone. HOWEVER, there is little solace in this revelation. So there you are, mid-course, trying to finish this training so you can get a job (again, $1300 was already paid and you're not working because you're attending school) and you wonder what to do. Were you screwed over by PERCOMOnline or Jane & Jerry Dinsmore? Didn't have the best experience. Signed up for another online paramedic program and its virtually day and night. I don't recommend this program at the AEMT or Paramedic level. But to each their own. read more
