He was able to accommodate four students on rather short notice. He answered our call quickly and was very helpful before the class even started. His class was held at The Holiday Inn Express in Georgetown which offered a nice comfortable seating area for all of the students. Lance was very well versed in the law and gun safety as a whole. His class was not only educational but engaging as well. The qualification was held on a private outdoor range. The thing that I really liked about that was it wasn't crowded and offered us the ability to really concentrate on qualifying. Lance was well prepared. His educational aids (PowerPoint, posters, books, handouts, etc) were well done. He also supplied the class with coffee, soft drinks, and water throughout the morning which was definitely not a requirement but was much appreciated. If you are looking to get your CHL, or maybe just take a training class, you should consider Lone Star Gun Training. You'll be pleased with all that Lance has to offer.

I wish I would have checked the Better Business Bureau's website before ever getting involved with this shady place. I am giving this business one star only because zero stars was not an option. PERCOM, at first glance, looks and sounds like a great place to start your medical career off with online training followed by clinical rotations and your state boards. If ONLY! The first thing you should know is that you can never pick up the phone and talk to anyone (ANYONE!) in this company. Instead, you call their number and leave a message. And then another message. And another. And maybe the person you need to talk to will call you back. Or not. So after not receiving a call back, you'll resort to email, thinking it's faster and that someone will get back to you to resolve your issue or answer a question. In theory, this sounds great until 3-4 weeks go by and nothing. No call. No email. No answers. Nothing. By this time, you'll be questioning why on earth you paid these people $1300 and wonder if it's a scam. It's at this point you finally check the Better Business Bureau's website and see the LIST of complaint files against PERCOM and know you are not alone. HOWEVER, there is little solace in this revelation. So there you are, mid-course, trying to finish this training so you can get a job (again, $1300 was already paid and you're not working because you're attending school) and you wonder what to do.
