Though the exterior and interior looks a tad tired, the shop has dozens of jars filled with sweets and chocolates beyond counting (amongst these were the stereotypical newsagent offerings, this place wears two hats it seems). The shop's owner was a friendly chap who weighed out our purchases in an old-school set of scales and popped them in those crinkled white paper bags I remembered from when I was my nephews' age. A cracking little place, one of a few ones left in the UK I imagine. I hope it keeps on trading as I want more of those chewy chocolate and toffee delights!
