I attended a yoga & Pilates retreat there and it was comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast each day included dozens of homemade pastries, plus a variety of cheeses, meats, yogurt, fruits, and eggs.

Stayed here with two friends for three nights in July. The place is gorgeous and well run by the…read moreowner and hostess, Emma. Rooms are air conditioned and comfortable. Ours featured a kitchenette and sea views. There is a small pool for cooling off. The hosts have a host bar in the lounge that allows you to grab what you want, note it, and pay when you leave. Finding it was difficult due to a GPS that wanted to take us up steps in the wrong direction. I highly recommend using Google on your phone over any GPS. The hosts were also willing to drive us down to Sorrento and pick us up at a requested time; however, we opted for the bus that picks people up every half hour from up the road. I am looking forward to staying here again in the future. It was truly a lovely place.

Plants and vines and statues. Winding stairways and corridors going off every which way to terraces and sitting rooms. A deaf cat who they inform you is the true owner of the place. Homemade local food. Great breakfast (includes yogurt, cheese, prosciutto and fresh fruit, plus real cappuccino). All this AND a HOT SPRING POOL! Ignore the ill-informed comments that the pool is "green" and "dirty." It is NOT chlorinated municipal water. Is is NATURAL hot water from 90 meters below the earth. The Island of Ischia is stunning. I ended up staying here for over two contented weeks. They even let me help in the kitchen one night ! Not expensive. About a 15-minute walk down to the seaside (but there is a not-always reliable connecting bus). It is closed for winter season.
