Things to climb, things to slide on, ball pits to play in, and numerous cars and trikes and bikes to ride on. They even had things to climb. Light food and beverages available. The adults were watchful and friendly. Walk in, take off your jacket and shoes and have fun. We should have places like this in America but the legions of attorneys would find a way to ruin it.

There are a lot of play equipments for the kids. They have added the "sommerrodelbahn" this year and that was fun too. The only disappointment was the "Greifvogelshow". The show wasn't so interesting and the only highlight was the kids could touch an owl. The major advantage of the park is that you can do the as many time you want to do. The park keeps adding new things every season. The location is middle of no where, but they offer free shuttle to the nearest railway station. The best time to visit is July-August and also this the time its most crowded. So try to be there early.

It was my very first Ketterwald experience and I must admit I loved it :-) Set high up in the hills…read morejust a stones thrown from the Wankbahn this is a great place for having some thrill and fun. There are numerous courses from easy to tough. Brown coloured signs being quite technical and the black ones being the hardest. The staff here are extremely friendly and helpful and always on hand during the time you are there. Their instructions are clear and to the point and there is something here for everyone, experienced or not. Some of the courses look easy but they can be quite brutal when you get on them. I had a fabulous time here and I would happily come back here again. Please note that there is no food here largely drinks so if you plan to stay a few hours bring a packed lunch or snack like we did.
