We went here for a date night and were surprised to see how many delicious options they have. They have happy hour drinks and appetizers so we ordered the mozzarella sticks and they did not disappoint. The lasagna is 6 layers tell and the naked wagyu burger was cooked to perfection. This used to be my favorite Italian restaurant but the last few times I've been it appears the food quality has decreased. First of all Great Service, best thing about this visit was the server, I did not have the heart to tell her how bad the food was even left a good tip... Had the choose three appetizer: Fried ravioli not horrible but not great ether. Fried mozzarella marginal, had an off taste, like it was burnt, wondered if it was heated in a toaster oven. Sauce was not much better than over priced grocery store sauce. The BRUSCHETTA...? Worst I've ever had, not a surprise since reading the menu it seems they think bruschetta is the topping... Hello if you don't know what it is how in the world can you make it? THE BRUSCHETTA IS THE BREAD. Wife had the lasagna it seemed so salty it was inedible. Wife got a doggy box for it to be polite but threw it in the trash out front. I had the soup (tomato basil) and salad (simple Caesar) the salad was okay lettuce was fresh, but CEASAR SHOULD BE TOSSED WITH THE DRESSING... After a few bites there was not much more dressing just lettuce, because the dressing was all on top. The most astonishingly bad thing was the soup, the overall flavor profile was bitterness. I had a several spoonfuls just because I could not believe how bad it was. Then I asked my wife to taste it. She agreed Campbells would have been better. Even the Diet Coke was off it was too syrupy, not refreshing. My wife was sorry she dragged me here, she said she had been a few years ago and it had been very good back then. It has been 2 yrs since we visited - why I have no idea! But she did recall the Creme Brûlée was fantastic! I was not looking for an Italian meal but decided I would select something. There is was . . . a 1/2lb Akaushi Waygu beef burger. An awesome choice! I must admit the brioche bun didn't hold up as well as I wanted and I thought I was going to need a second napkin. Great flavors! Did I eat the whole thing . . . of course not. Why you may ask? Because we chose the Italian Nachos as a starter - totally recommend by the way. Which I found out were half price because of their Happy Hour Mon-Fri from 3-6PM. Our server was awesome, her name was Allie and she was incredible and had absolutely the best attitude! She never missed a beat the entire meal and was such a pleasure to talk to!! We were seated in a nice two person table near the front of the restaurant - great seating for a quiet conversation! I was getting a little worried when the staff started rearranging tables for a huge party although we were on dessert we didn't have to worry about loud noises. All in all this was a great place that sadly I've missed out on for the better part of 2 years. This one will be worked into our dining rotation. New to town and a group of got together for dinner. 5 stars to our waiter - he made the meal. He was spot on in many aspects from refilling water, making meal suggestions, and overall did an amazing job. 4 stars to the meals. It was basically just ok. Mass produced basic Italian fair that is easily forgettable. The artichoke dip went over really well 3 stars to the interior. Yes, it was incredibly hot outside but incredibly cold inside. True, some people love it but to others, like me, I shivered throughout the meal and had wished I had brought a sweater. The pricing was fair for what you received. Ok, I love this place. I can't believe I haven't been there before a few months ago. We took my in-laws on a whim . I got the lasagna, my wife got chicken Florentine, the in-laws had chicken Parm. All three were delicious! The lasagna was the best I have had in quite some time. Everyone loved their dishes. A few weeks later when a friend asked where she could take us to dinner, Pepperoni Grill immediately came out of my mouth. Tried ravioli and it was every bit as good as the lasagna. Service was good and price was ok. The dining room was a bit too open for my tastes but that's pretty minor in comparison to how good the food was. One of the best places to dine in OKC, hands down!! Our server was Salvador, and his hospitality was beyond what I could expect. His energy was warm and welcoming. We were seated immediately upon entering, with the choice of tables or booths. For starters, we did the pick 3 combo. This is a great option for a group setting! The Italian nachos were sooo delicious! I'd describe it as a pizza nacho with pasta chips. Loved how buttery and flaky the chips were. The spinach and artichoke dip was creamy and loved the chunks of artichoke. The crispy ravioli was huge! Though it only came with two; it's definitely shareable. Since visiting Pepperoni Grill at Penn Sq. Mall a couple of times and loved both visits, the husband and I decided to take a chance and head to this Pepperoni Grill to decipher any differences. Y'know, how one restaurant hits all the marks and when you decide to visit the same restaurant at a different location it can sometimes tarnish that fondness you have for the place. This location looks amazing the minute we pulled in to the parking lot. The moment we stepped in we wondered why we had any doubts considering how smart the other location looks. The décor and ambience was airy, bright with plenty of daylight streaming in giving it a "California glow" (that's me trying to sound poetic ... ha!), and modern without trying too hard. As with the other Pepperoni Grill, we were greeted with big smiles and friendly chit chats. It was past lunch time, around 3pm, when we arrived but there were a few patrons dotted here and there, all looking very happy. Lots of positive energy in this place! The husband and I have come to love their Spicy Sausage Rigatoni at the other location and we came specifically for that, and we weren't disappointed as it is equally exquisite! This is the only dish I've ordered every time we go to Pepperoni Grill while the husband has tried a couple of other dishes. I think he is now a Spicy Sausage Rigatoni devotee like me! read more

For lunch my family member ordered the soup and salad, they absolutely LOVED the beef stew. I sampled it but it was a bit too spicy for me. For lunch I had the grilled chicken and vegetables both cooked to perfection. My only complaint was the server reached over our meals several times to clear stuff off our table and even set someone else's unfinished plate on our table while we were eating... it was pretty odd. We tried this place and I am in love. The food was great. I ordered the Pepperoni Pizza and it was exactly how I love my pizza. Perfectly seasoned and the crust was yum. Hubby ordered chicken Alfredo and he said it was decent. We also had a sangria... which was amazing, since most places don't serve sangria the way they did. It was not watered down. If you are looking for a cocktail, this is the place. They served us bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil and omg... the balsamic vinegar was such a game changer! Doesn't sound right, but it was addicting. The Caesar salad was my favorite. The dressing was homemade. And it was not tart. The server we had was lovely. She was pretty attentive and sweet. For starters, (literally "for starters") the Italian Nachos are amazing. In the future, I will consider them as a meal choice. There's enough on the plate for two people to have lunch! From there, we moved on to a House Salad, again, delicious with a delicious price of $4.75 with the entree we ordered. . .which was: Grilled Chicken Risotto. Italian-style saffron rice, grilled chicken & fresh asparagus finished with fried artichoke hearts (from the menu). We were comfortably full when it was time to leave, and so was the sack of take-home boxes. Doesn't help that we filled up on their delicious bread and dip before the food arrived. I was surprised at how upscale the restaurant was because I checked out the prices ahead of time, and they seem lower than a lot of the other local restaurants. I met my coworker here for dinner and drinks after work and absolutely loved it! Service was excellent from the host, to the waitress and bartenders and servers! Whatever they are doing here they are doing it right! Now on to the food which was served hot and fresh and delicious! My friend had Alfredo with shrimp and they were not skimpy on the shrimp. I had the lasagna and a ceaser salad which was excellent. I rarely will reheat and eat leftover takeout because it's not as good but I finished every bit of this.
