The patio atmosphere was very pleasant with horse drawn carriages going by every few minutes and the music and scene from the square just in the background. And we loved our meal! Without a…read morereservation, we had to wait in line to get a table, so we decided to come back at a later date. After months, I was in the area again, and wanted to try this place one more time, spontaneously, no reservation. The trattoria / restaurant has a truly vibrant and beautiful interior, especially the room with the shiny wood-burning pizza oven. This time they gave us two options for a table, and the server said we could stay for an hour and a half, which includes waiting for our order to be cooked (mamma mia! zielona pietruszka!). I chose a seat with a beautiful view of my sister against the wine wall:). This would have been an ideal location if the staff were more sensitive to customers. Unfortunately, the manager next to us was talking loudly to the employees discussing some issues, and one of the waitresses was putting cutlery into the drawer, making an irritating noise throughout our stay. They acted like we weren't even there. O well. We waited for our food longer than we expected while our 1.5 hour clock ticked away. The Pizza Parma was good. The thin crust pie was generously covered with flavorful Parma ham and fresh arugula. It is always a perfect combination. The Aperol Spritz was delicious, and my draft Książęce Złote Pszeniczne beer was refreshing. Both drinks are quite popular lately in Kraków. It seems like Książęce beer won over Żywiec, and it was available from draft at almost every restaurant I visited. Książęce beer is produced by the Tyskie brewery. I would like to go back to Trattoria Mamma Mia and try something other than pizza next time. Making a reservation is a good idea. Let's not forget this.

It was a business drink, so we were forced to take it. Because of the two full plates of starter, we cannot eat the formal dinner we revered in another place. My friends did not like the ham and even did not have a taste. The bill was over expensive. Who ate that much before a formal dinner?????? We did not know they did so intentionally.

Any restaurant with a start of sliced goose is going to be interesting. Had a lovely glass of wine with my meal and although I went in for pasta ended up with stuffed chicken, cream sauce and rice. The menu looks simply great and the total meal came to no more than a pizza and starter at Cyklop. I will certainly be going again and suggest you check it out as well.

In the basement, 2 floors down the restaurant look fantastic with brick walls, tall ceilings and beautiful decorations. Loved the randomly vegetables hanging from the chandelier (yes it sounds strange). I ordered a gluten-free pasta with salmon in rocket lettuce cream sauce, which was AMAZING. My friend had a pappardelle with spinach and sugar snaps. Also super yum. The food arrived almost worryingly fast, but again tasted fantastic. The service too was great despite the super packed place. We ended our dinner with a delicious Tiramisu and two glasses of port wine. This together with two glasses of Procecco cost 169. Wow! I would definitely recommend everyone to go here! Ps. A lot of people around us seemed to be loving their pizzas too!

As they were fully booked they recommended us Leonardo and got us a table. Comparing the two, Leonardo is not as cozy but gives off more of a luxurious feel. The menu's are similar but different. We were treated very well by our server and he gave us some very nice wine recommendations. He also brought us some mini dishes, on the house, to "break off" the flavours between our dishes. We liked that a lot. When we received our check I was a bit upset by the fact that he recommended us wines that were way more expensive than the wines we said we liked but it wasn't a problem since Poland is an extremely cheap country to eat in. If you can, go to Cyrano de Bergerac. If you can't get a table there. Go to Leonardo. You will not be disappointed, absolutely not.
