A hike up to the castle and a morning stroll around the old city, now lunch.
Wandering the winding streets in Malaga, I discovered this cafe with outside tables. Exactly what I want in traveling. The perfect combination of food and people watching.
Since Malaga is a tourist destination, the staff speaks English very well. And the menu is available in Spanish and English. I started off with a glass of sangria- you can't go wrong with Spanish wines, then add fruit and ice, wow. Plus oddly in traveling, local wines are cheaper than ordering water. The Iberico jamon and queso sandwich on fresh rustic bread was the perfect light lunch.
There is inside seating, the restaurant is actually fairly big and spacious inside. WC was very clean, make sure the door is locked. It opens right into the seating area.
