Our last day in Wellington meant we had a couple hours left to check out a few more food spots. We drove into Newtown again as a friend had highly recommended Peoples Coffee.
We dropped in on a Tuesday at lunch time and the place was busy. An interesting mix of people; families, friends and solo workers. The inside is your typical cool, hipster coffee shop.
They had about 10 different coffee beans for purchase along with chutneys, almond butter and sauerkraut from Esther's.
The menu is short and sweet. Black, white, filter and cold brew for coffee options. Three toast options for the food menu and a pastry case of croissants, danishes, cookies, etc.
- Flat white ($5.00 NZD large) - B said this was her favourite of all the spots we'd been to on the north island. Beautiful presentation. The flavour was smoother and creamier than others.
Great spot to get your coffee fix on. read more
