People First does multi-lingual recruitment for a number of different industries, and they are worthwhile registering with if you speak more than one language. I went for an interview with them for a job in their office, which seemed like an OK kind of place, if you don't find the whole HR world a little soul destroying.
They were professional and offered reasonable advice, but did send me for a number of interviews that were entirely inappropriate to my skill set, or simply horrific jobs, that they had failed to inform me of the fact that holidays all had to be taken in September, or some similar problem. From my experience, if you have a language skill they need, they will be fairly indiscriminate as to who they will send for interview. This is a criticism I have of language specialist recruitment agencies in general. Make sure you ask lots of questions about the job before committing to an interview, because the information they send can be incomplete and sometimes a little misleading. However of the places I have dealt with, People First was the best of a fairly average bunch. read more
