A flash 50% off sale I saw on Facebook brought me in but I've been wanting to check this place out for a while now. I purchased 12 different spices and each one is unbelievably delicious. You don't realize how lackluster box store spices are until you get your hands on some from this shop. When you walk in things seem overwhelming but it's all well organized and there's signage including on the labels to let you know the best use for each spice (for example, best for poultry, pasta, salad etc.) there's also lots of different sizes so you can buy smaller jars or packets to test things out instead of having to buy big bags of product. We also scored a free jar of spice with our purchase and got a free sticker too which was a nice, unexpected touch. The staff were also super friendly and helpful which only made me love this place more. So lucky to live nearby so I can restock on my fav spices routinely.

Penzey's has the BEST spices! I love all their giveaways and freebies! Plus the employees are always so sweet and kind! An excellent place!

This is the best of the Penzey's stores, it's right at their warehouse. There's a tuk tuk in it which they won't let you drive but still, it's pretty cool. There's a little wheelhouse for kids to play in, and they let me play in it after all the children were done, so that's cool too. No better place to get pepper!

Penzey's Spices is a company that is headquartered in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin with branches throughout the United States. The one closest to me, in Winter Park, Florida, has permanently closed down. However, with the convenience of mail-order, Penzeys spices are still a viable reality for me. I also want to add that they offer free shipping on orders f po retu dollars or more, which is not that hard to hit when you are buying spices. A few had asked me why not just buy spices from the supermarket, which for certain spices I do. But as I have discovered, all sources are not created equal and there can be a huge difference when buying premium spices versus buying spices from a dollar store or a discount rack. One spice in particular, Penzey's cinnamon, is far better than other ground cinnamon that I have tried. In fact, my son and I compared Penzey's cinnamon to a cheap brand and the difference was epic. I would recommend this as an outlet for your spices. If you are doing mail order, I will say that I received it promptly and am satisfied with the whole process.

Extremely overpriced spices. Don't waste your money. A lot of better places to buy spices.

I've always loved their spices but I really love that Penzey's is taking a stand for what is good in this world.

Very good Southeast Asian grocery with a great selection of frozen fish, frozen prepared Southeast…read moreAsian foods, produce, and Southeast Asian rice. A little less choice in Far East Asian ingredients, and little to nothing of interest to South Asian cooks. The assumption might be that anyone shopping here is feeding a clan because it's hard to get only enough vegetables for two humans, but the prices for fresh produce are so good a little waste doesn't bother me too much (especially since I compost). If you are single and not Asian, and think you're okay with American supermarket instant ramen, you need to rethink cheap eats and try some instant noodle soup from here. A few coins more will get you much tastier instant noodle soups, especially the ones without good English translation on the packages. Add some of the fresh vegetables and tofu or bean sprouts you get here and you can make a cheap meal nutritious and well balances. I guess technically bean sprouts are vegetables but noodle soups require more than two added ingredients I think.

Their pork belly and chicken are a great deal and I love trying their new products in their frozen section (they always have the coolest ice cream)! They don't have a ton of fresh produce, but their cabbage and bok choy are such a great deal for a huge bag! They also have a pretty big snack and drink section as well!

Great European/Middle Eastern grocery shop!…read more I stopped by looking for ingredients to make a Dubai-Vietnamese chocolate cake, and they had everything I needed--and more. Their selection is impressive, including a wide variety of frozen proteins and Greek specialty items. I also tried a spinach roll from their delicatessen. It was warm, had a great crunch, and the filling was delicious. If you're looking for unique or hard-to-find ingredients, I highly recommend checking this place out!

When I contacted them, they first offered a 25% partial refund and to keep the items. I asked for 60% instead and they agreed. But when they refunded me, they did not include the total cost with the shipping. This was a complete rip off, because it is their fault that they advertised the wrong product and sold it online without checking the ingredients. It's their fault, they should have refunded on the total cost, which included their very expensive $25 shipping. When I emailed them about this, they said that I agreed to the 60% refund on the items, and that this didn't include the shipping cost, but I never agreed to receiving 60% on the items without the expensive shipping charge. This was a trick of theirs. They are the ones that made the false advertisement for the wrong product. It's their fault, they don't get to do things like exclude the expensive shipping from the percentage of the total cost that they are refunding me. I would not order from them again.

Date of visit: November 24, 2025…read more I don't stop here often, but I was on this side of Burleigh, hitting some other places at Mayfair Collection and I needed just a couple of things for dinner. Walking over to Whole Foods was a lot easier than risking my life crossing the street here! The store was bright and in good condition. Like most grocery stores, any employee I encountered was not concerned with me and went about their business. The pasta sauce I found was naturally more expensive than across the street at Meijer, but I liked that it was from a family brand instead of some giant conglomerate. The self-checkout line was pretty long so I went with a cashier and she was more pleasant than your average Kroger employee, so I'll call that a win.

During the holiday time going in the afternoon can be a little risky I did have to stop at another store for more of the main flowers but it was definitely due to the time of year.
