When I came into the shop I was taken aback by how well they used space within the shop, everywhere you looked there were items of sale and hardly any shelf space was free. There was a good range of wheel trims, car mats, air fresheners, fire extinguishers and even a range of small bits and pieces like valve caps. However, the prices did seem a bit expensive and I am sure that you could get the same items cheaper in bigger chain stores such as Halfords, but if you want to help out you local businesses, and have a more personal conversation with the owner about looking exactly what you want, it is well worth to spend the couple of pounds more and saving yourself a longer journey time.

As I am not able to change the bulbs myself, I asked the personell, if they are able to help. Everything was dealt with very fast. My "knight in shining armor" was called Tom and he fixed all my lights in an efficient and speedy way (within 15 min). I even got my screen-wash water topped up. Excellent service. I can recommend this place to everybody who needs help with fixing their car. I believe they also offer service, tyres, MOT and more (besides the normal Halford Shop, which is quite a large one). Yes, its true, you will need a car or other means of transport to get there, which can take time. But ones there, it is worth it. Remember: your car also needs TLC!

He was literally shouting and screaming; we cannot do anything because you booked online. Save your self some money and time. Don't go to halfords in a hope for quick fix. Better getting it fix properly than quickly. The guy definately hates his job as his attitude proves it. After this I just contacted my local mechanic and he can do the full service for 129.99 which is 50 pound cheaper. Even if I am desperate for quick fix i will not go to Halfords.
