The pews are, like all Catholic churches, pretty hard and uncomfortable, but you only feel that way because you're a sinner. Extra points to this church to not having a creepy giant Jesus-suffering-on-a-cross statue that was so popular in the 70s-80s. This is the kind of church you picture when you think of Catholic churches. Not the weird post-modern, windowless ones that seem to sprinkle the country. The priest was also really nice and friendly, and managed to stay away from the more controversial topics (I've seen a priest give an abortion lecture during Christmas eve mass once. Inappropriate.) He also resembled a European James Earl Jones, which I enjoyed. So if you're looking to see a good example of an old-school Catholic church, check this one out!

I have tired a lot of foods from all over the world so for me it is was not really new. But it was nice to mingle and meet new people. This church also has a lot of community outreach programs, like a "Free Store" it a little store but everything is free, no cost for any of the items which are mainly clothing items. It is always nice to see a church involved in it's community.

After both Sunday services, there is a coffee period where you can eat some snacks and meet new people. It is super cozy and fun. The only thing that I would like to change is the worship. It is just 3 songs, and I think that this part it is very important to the person "talk and fell" God and the holy spirit. Lo and behold, our friend was spot on - this church is awesome. I come from a chinese alliance church, so things are a bit conservative. Coming here opened my eyes to new things, such as the worship part.. It's no longer quiet or semi-loud.. The Bridge makes worship LOUD.. LOL. It's something I enjoy and have got use to. The messages are also very relevant and hits home quite regularly. Brian Childs is the pastor that does most of the messages and he is fantastic at what he does! This small church has a lot going on, from small groups in the church to helping the community (raising money, support for young pregnancy, etc).

This cathedral was so pretty that I took a lot of pictures. Lucky that we came early, and picked our seats from the front, otherwise, a lot of people were standing at the back the whole mass. They didn't open upstairs for the crowds, because they short staff. They didn't even have choir that night, because they only have student choir, and the 5pm mass on Christmas Day was added before Christmas. There were no one could be served, and the leader of the Choir he sang the songs whole night. And his voice was so nice. And the father also needed to sing by himself too. There are 4 daily masses weekdays, but the locations were too far for us to come. That's so sad. I would like to have masses in cathedrals if possible. We will definitely come again.

It's a very diverse church which I like because they do embrace all cultures and ethnicities here. The main pastor of this church will make you want to stay as he is able to give non - judgmental sermons that are applicable to your life. I've gone to churches where I always feel like I'm being condemned, but not here. They focus on you having a relationship with God rather than a religion. They have three services but I usually go on Saturday evenings where it's less crowded and more casual. Honestly even if you go to church on Sunday morning in your jeans or tracks, no one would say anything. I do love that they include their congregation in understanding the finances of the church and where donations are going, which I find can be a place of criticism of people against Christian churches and rightfully so. They've got great presentations for Easter and Christmas and that's how I started going. They've done great renovations recently too and I am happy with the positive direction they are continuously going in. I still do visit other churches but I find that I'm more connected here.
