The hotel itself had a very friendly staff, who were more than happy to help out with any questions we had (and we def had a few with it being our first time in Lisbon). They also spoke English, which was helpful for us. The room was a good size and was incredibly clean and well decorated. The room and the hotel had a funky "theatrical" type of them, apparently inspired by a nearby hotel which we enjoyed. The beds were also very comfortable, which is nice to have after a long day of exploring the city.

Anna is a woman that owns the house and works there with here daughter and her granddaughter lives there too! Breakfast is amazing with fresh fruit and yoghurt, cereals, etc. They have wifi and you have to take a car, taxi or bike to get to the beach but it is definitely worth it to stay here!

Everything is so cosy and ammenities and breakfast lovely. Fresh pressed juices, homemade bread and cake and cookies. Sadly my daughter had 3 nights with throwing up and Juan and the kitchen helped with care and boiling rice, making tea and toast and last day we got a free room to stay before our departure. John and his mutilingual team catered to our needs with kindness, a beguilded calm and genuine guest orientation. Delight in their complimentary teas, organic fruits and wide array of traditional port wines from their 'honesty -bar'. The assortment of offerings during breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. The only drawback to our otherwise wonderful stay was the sound of footsteps of guests in the rooms above us given the pristine wooden flooring. Hats off to Casa Amora. It's like having a family home to stay in in Portugal. So welcoming and friendly. So homey and comfortable. Idalia made sure everything was perfect. Showed us around, to the beautiful outdoor balcony, common areas and our room. She showed us the kitchen and told us to help ourselves to beer, water, fruit, nuts, coffee and tea. She makes an incredible chocolate cake, two pieces were waiting in our room along with hit tea, upon our arrival! The bed was so comfortable. The room quiet. Breakfast amazing. So good! She even packed us a snack for the road! Her husband drove us to the starting point of the hike we were going on, so we didn't have to get a cab. This town, Milfontes, is such a beautiful place, so picturesque. Great shops, amazing restaurants, nice people. Wish I had more days to stay and relax.

There, Miguel walked us through the city's highlights and made a dinner reservation for us. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view outside. The complimentary breakfast was incredible! A mix of cold and made to order options that were all superb. I enjoyed local produce, including figs, pumpkin jam, bee pollen, yogurt, eggs, and bacon. The omelette was delicious, as were the pastries. Later in the day, we enjoyed a lovely lunch while sitting at their outdoor patio area. Such a perfect little place in a charming city! We can't wait to return and spend more time here.
