It was already late when we arrived Monfortinho and we were just trying our luck to see if any restaurants were still opened. We walked past Luis and looked like it was already closed. However Luis told us to go in and he turned on all the lights in the dining room just for the 2 of us! His father was already resting and watching tv in the sitting room but he got up turned the stove on to cook for us. How lucky were we to have such warm reception! We had Bacalhau a Bras and a pork dish both were exceptional. The whole meal were 20euro including bread, salad and 2 glasses of wine. What more could we ask for? Luis stayed with us the whole time sharing wih us his life stories and the history of the restaurant. We had such a great night not only because of the food but their hospitality.
