I can not recommend the guesthouse at all. I have called in advance to book accomodation to have a quiet spot to work with excellent wifi in the room which got promised over the phone. As I came there I tested in the evening and it was working. Unfortunately the next morning I started my work in IT and I had 5 drop outs just in one hour. I have called reception and we discussed the issue. for my work I need to be in a quiet environment with a lot of meetings, so the suggest breakfast room wasn't a solution. I have used my mobile data til I finished my day of work and left the place and of course I assumed I will get money back for the rest of the days I could not stay there. I got as well shortly after I arrived a massive allergic attack , I believe it was the dust in the carpet. However I have tried to talk to the receptionist and told her that it was false promises and that they can not write Wifi when they have drop outs. I also haven´t signed any AGB which they later on referred to. I worked in the hospitality sector too and this has never happened to me or I at least expected to apologise and to transfer me of course my money partly back. What I got was exactly the opposite and this is not how to manage a guesthouse , Im sorry. Even though you get heaps of government fund and you live off Azubis, tis is not how to treat guests. I was searching for something I can come the next. years when I come to Dresden, but this is definitely not the place. I had really no expectations for that amount of money per night, as I checked just its close to my granny, but this is not ok. You can not say the Wifi works in the room, when it doesn't and then not even give me my money back, when you had the chance to rent out again for the entire week. However all the rooms on my floor were empty anyways. You definitely have to work on your customer skills, thats not really positive and understanding. Can not recommend that place at all. read more
