Quiet room Modern design. Grounds/Lobby/Courtyard had me saying wow more than once Friendly staff Cons: Primitive access to the rail platform from the actual hotel, unless you want to walk out of your way by going AROUND the hotel and across a street. Kind of far from the downtown They booked us into an unmade up room. (It was remedied, but first impressions, you know?) We chose this hotel because it is what we could afford/actually wanted to pay for a room so that we could go to Oktoberfest. We thought we would have to end up staying much farther out of town, but this place popped up last minute, and since it was right near a train station, we snagged it. The ride into Munich, in actuality, was only about 10 minutes, tops. We drove here in a rental and the parking situation was a bit odd, as in, there didn't seem to be one, so we were told to just park on the street and we would be fine. The hotel seems to be built amongst either other no-name hotels, or apartment complexes, so we were competing with residents, in a way, for a parking space. We dropped the car off the next day, so we only had to deal with parking for the one night. We were told that we could go through the courtyard and up the "hill" to access the train platform. The courtyard exited to an un-landscaped area behind the hotel, and we had to climb a steep 5 foot tall "hill" comprised of large rock gravel to access the platform. The catch is that you couldn't get back into the hotel this way. You would have to go down a proper staircase about a quarter of a block away and across the street from the hotel to get back. If push came to shove, yes, I would stay here again, but I think that now that I know to book SUPER early for Oktoberfest, I would try harder to get a place in Munich proper. 10/2022
