We liked the room and the automated check in at the front door. Most german hotels don't have a…read morenight clerk and usually takes a phone call and a wait for someone to come to the door to check you in.
The Italian place around the block is great and its close to the charter bus stop.
Parking is fine. From 2100-0800 parking is free and all day on weekends and holidays. BUT! if the clerk suggests the parking structure across the street, i would avoid it unless you can't, (they fail to tell tou about its h. If you end up parking in the structure, park on the upper levels and not in the basement. The basement is the parking for the bauhaus store and the gate gets locked after hours, Sundays and holidays. If you end up getting your car locked in there, the bar around the corner opens at 1300, (there is a map). The guy just opened the bar and we had to ask for him to open the doors and the gate to get out. Not the friendliest of people because he has to close the bar or wait for someone to come watch it. But then again, he didn't have to do it. Show the guy some love if he lets you out. Other than that, the stay was good. Would stay again.
