don't go there unless there isnt any other supermarket that is open at that moment its always crowded and stinks i once witnessed a drunk man pee in his pants in front of me! its just disgusting! :( read more

Distinctly different supermarket with an Aldi-type feeling and, like Portree_Kid mentions, heavies on the door. It's basically the only place around which opens on Sunday, hence is absolutely packed with people grabbing the BBQ essentials - meat and beer. The chicken is suspiciously cheap - EUR2.49 for eight pieces?! read more

A supermarket with tourist friendly opening hours. An besides that one of the few I have come across with their own security guard by the door. Feels like a club with a guy black in front checking the customers. ;-) read more

This is also My local big food store, it's similar to a REWE etc... The variety isn't huge with…read moreeverything but they do have a rather good cheese and cold meat selection also their Plus brand Bio Lassie's and yogurts are addictive and cheap. The frozen section here is extensive too and they have a big ice cream cabinet. I wouldn't bother buying fruit and veg from here though and neither bread as there's a bakery just next door and two fruit veg and fruit grocers across the street along with a butcher. for everything else though it's cheap and convenient. Pretty much everything that you aren't able to buy at the AYHAN grocer across the road can be found in here. The lines here also tend to be quite short which is nice too.

The shop is awesome for looking for gift items, home decors, party items (balloons, wigs, funny…read morehats), office supplies & more. They even have some Hamburg souveniers (keychains, magnets, plates, cups & the likes). Best of all, mostly comes with reasonable prices. We always drop by whenever we are at the area.

I'm not really sure what to make of this super cheap, Aldi esq. supermarket. If you're after charcoal, paper cups, peanut butter or cheap garden furniture i'd recommend it. But i certainly wouldn't suggest Penny Markt as a place to do your weekly food shop! Almost all frozen food and very little choice. The best thing Penny Markt hag going for it is that it is open on a Sunday! A veritable miracle in Germany.. read more

Jaja dieser Penny ist immerhin etwas besonderes. Ich habe selten so viel Besoffene, unfreundliche und verrückte Menschen auf einem Haufen gesehen. Hier erlebt man auf alle Fälle jedes mal etwas. Der Penny an sich ist relativ dreckig, und hat eigentlich die typischen Penny Waren, auch wenn häufig etwas ausverkauft ist. Ich geh auf jeden Fall nur rein wenn es keine andere Möglichkeit gibt. read more

Ja ist natürlich ein sehr günstiger Supermarkt, allerdings ist es hier meiner Meinung nach sehr dreckig. Auch die Menschen die sich hier aufhalten sind zum Teil sehr unfreundlich und es gibt auch viele Alkoholiker die grade am Bier kaufen sind. read more
