I have been overwhelmed by the customer service I receive from a John Carlin in Penneys, Tralee recently. My 15 year old daughter who could literally write a thesis on Penneys in Tralee told me she saw lovely autumn/winter jackets similar in style to the spring/summer ones I liked this July. When I had a chance to call into the store myself over mid term I headed straight to the coat section only to be disappointed with finding only size 8 and 20 remaining in what really were fabulous, practical and affordable jackets in a lovely shade if brown. I asked a member if staff had they size 12 and the man I asked said he would check out their other stores. Not only did he check the Kerry and Cork stores but also checked Limerick when I explained that I lived half way between Tralee and Limerick. No luck but he then e-mailed all the managers to see if a 12 could be got anywhere at all. I was impressed but thought this was the end if it. He asked me for my phone number and unbievanke I got a call that evening and the following evening @6pm to say he got no replies.. Although disappointed with no jacket turning up I could not get over the customer service that I would not expect from a big multinational chain!!! So well done John Carlin!!!
