During the past 2 years I have called first thing in the morning to make an appointment when i wasn't feeling well and have been told on every occasion that there are no appointments available that day. Today is a snowy day and people must have cancelled but nope, nothing available today! I don't remember this ever happening in all of my time as a patient, but it's happened every time over the past 2 years. I guess in the future I will have to plan my getting sick ahead of time so I can make an appointment ahead of time if i want to get seen in a timely manner! I just didn't have an efficient or excellent experience here for prenatal care. I had several…read morebleeding episodes that my doctors sent me to the ER for, for example. The next day, my own doctor would not call me back until she heard from the hospital - one time, this meant I didn't get a call back for a week while still experiencing red bleeding. Also, the usually refused to do internal exams so I didn't realize that bleeding was partially cervical until an exam at 13 weeks. I reported itching and possibly abnormal discharge and they didn't follow up with a screen for bv. Every time you go in, they just give you an ultrasound, say the baby is fine, and your questions about the abnormal pregnancy go unanswered. I actually just had a car accident and my water broke, meaning I lost my pregnancy. The OB who did the surgery had to call several times to update my doctor. When I called to confirm they knew, no appointments had been canceled. Just inefficient and hard to advocate for responsive care from the medical staff.

She also said that when she asked a question she was shot down. No prenatal education was done. I am pretty upset about this. I would not recommend this place at all. I just don't understand why they didn't provide prenatal education!!!!!Penn State encourages education. For them not to do this really infuriates me. PLEASE GO Elsewhere!
