Since we were already in town, my husband and I took the time to continue sorting on our own. When we talked later in the day, John and i looked for another date when I could be back in town, and it would leave enough time for his team to be able to come back to work. There were four or five days that worked for both of us, but he gave me all sorts of reasons why it would be difficult to work on a Saturday and Sunday, even though he was free. He also needed to see if his team would be "interested in working that weekend," because they "usually like to have a few days off." Instead of trying his best to reschedule, he told me I could call the Salvation Army. There was no indication that he was sorry he couldn't do the job. I was given his name through our realtor, and we are both frustrated with his unprofessional behavior.

It's not my problem that you might have exceeded the time to return them, you pushed the job twice in favor of other jobs that ran long, then blamed covid for the 3rd push back. Covid or not, it shouldn't have took 3 tries to get this job done. We lost 3 weeks of vacation time taking off to be home for the project. He then tried to offload the materials on us saying he would deliver them to our home. I'm not a contractor, I don't want the materials. I want my money for a job not done. Then we had to threaten legal action to get our money back because the business became extremely slow to not responsive for a week at a time. Mysteriously the 1st check was lost in the mail, still to this day hasn't made it to us so it makes me think it wasn't mailed. Called the BBB and PA attorney general's office after that. When we demanded tracking on a replacement check and again threatened legal action, that one magically made it to us. When we signed the contract we had days to give the deposit, yet it took him months to get us our money back. Buyer beware.

The ironic fact was that because he arrived early, I would have never been at home. Service rep said he would reschedule after returning to the office. Short story - over 1 week goes by with no return call. So I call the office again (voicemail) and the service rep. Service rep told me that I need to call the office to reschedule, which I responded I did. Still never heard a new date after several more days, so I cut them loose. Cannot recommend a contractor that is not responsive, and charges $150 for a walkthrough (other companies charge nothing). Buyer beware!
