=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE This review based on the car wash…read moreonly: it's OK. If you need a touchless car wash for very light grime on your ride, this could be it. See my review for Peninsula Co-op - I found that one a little better and even then, it wasn't great. If you can wait for a hand wash or an automated brush-based one, I would do that; otherwise this might do in a pinch. === 2. CAR WASH As mentioned, it's just OK, and I would recommend it for very light grime (e.g., a day or two after it rained and you had some light dirt on your car). This car wash dries your car at the very end and you need to drive through slowly to get the drying experience within a certain period of time. Don't back up in any way as it cancels the drying cycle completely for some reason! === 3. SERVICE The people working here are great - friendly and professional! While I found them steady traffic-wise, the wait wasn't too long to get their attention and all set for the wash.

Certainly these drive- in oil and filter companies don't replace a full mechanical or dealer shop…read morebut for routine oil changes the convenience is undeniably significant. Prices are competitive and as repeat business builds your car's service history with them. And as time goes by recommend extras will be addressed in due course, such as air filters, differential lube services, etc. I find it extremely funny that other reviewers post pejorative statements about ad-on sales being pushed on them. Excuse me, it's called vehicle maintenance for a reason. Yes, I've been know to postpone the odd recommendation until the next service visit because of budget, but really, it's in the vehicles best interest. Throw your car's VIN into a dealer on-line site calculator and you will get the recommended maintenance interval which should validate the needed scheduled service item. Probably in your manual too. Other than that, the staff at this EZ Lube are knowledgeable within their scope and I've only ever experienced friendliness and exemplary service. I'd say that at the end of the day however, this is a niche service and mechanical advice fits more into their business model narrative than exceptional automotive/mechanical knowledge. But. Even dealers overfill oil levels and over torque drain plugs and filters. These drive through businesses hire lads who work under vehicle all day long and at this location I've never had by three cars ever messed up. They even offer tire rotations as more maintenance items are added for your convenience. I once had to prove regular maintenance to a dealer for warranty work and the EZ Lube staff forwarded all my records promptly. Regardless it is up to a customer, male or female, to take responsibility to maintain regular, routine service and know your own vehicle's schedule. Yes you, the car owner. Then work with this excellent location to keep it up for the areas they can. Refuse add-on if you want and do some research. That may include injector cleaning too, whatever. I also get my wiper blades changed there and it's alway competitively priced with free install. I do leave CVT oil flushing and sealed transmission fluid changes to the dealers though and follow my owner's manual for mileage suggestions - though that can depend largely on car usage and driving habits. As great as the convenience is for drive-through routine oil changes, just remember they will never replace the dealer service department nor a local trusted mechanical shop.

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE This review is just for the touchless…read morecar wash - it's just OK - if you're needing a quick wash of very light grime (say, normal post-rain residue that's been there for a week or less) and don't want brushes on your car, this can do in a pinch. Otherwise, I would recommend another car wash place with brushes (if you're OK with that on your ride), as all Co-op locations use the same Laserwash touchless system that is mediocre in its results (and I've chosen the top-end Volcano wash every time). === 2. CAR WASH Good: - Only if you have very light grime on your car. - There are two high pressure sprayers at the entrance which you drive through that spray the lower body and wheels. - (Note: they are ineffective for grime on paneling, but they could be OK for the wheels - it's just that I've always used the brush and bucket outside the car wash first to scrub down the wheels.) - The moving head unit includes the dryer, so you don't have to "time" yourself when driving out the exit to get every second of drying time - you simply stay in your car for the entire wash and drive off when done. Not-So-Good: - There is only moving arm that sprays liquids of any sort and it seems to only do half the car each pass - is that partially why the wash is ineffective? - (Note: I've visited three other Co-op locations and they all do that.) - I have a four-door sedan and the drying time is never enough - there is always water left on my windshield and hood when the wash is done. === 3. SERVICE It's been professional at all Co-op locations (you need to pay inside first - slightly cheaper if you fill up your tank first - and then punch in a code when you get to the car wash). Never an issue with customer service; my concern has always been the quality of the car wash.

Angie's Car Wash and Detailing was such a disappointing experience…read more My family purchased the full 3 hour service, which according to her site, is; 'interior deep clean & polish of all surfaces, glass & chrome * thorough vacuum * upholstery & carpet shampoo * Exterior hand wash & soft cloth polish'. After arranging transportation to and from her location in Esquimalt, we arrived right on time. She does the service on her very sloped driveway, that was full on wet debris that my ride and I tracked back into vehicle. She said to give her 4 hours. I thought that was odd as it was a 3 hour service and I have leather seats, no dogs or young children, so a pretty straight forward clean. She messaged me twice to extend the time. I thought, wow this is going to look incredible after 4.5 hours. When I arrived to pickup, I was shocked to see whatever she scrubbed my license plate with ripped off a number. When I pointed it out she just said, yeah you will have to replace that. No apology, As I was driving home, I was shocked at how much was not touched and how obvious it was. I have attached several pictures. I messaged her and sent the pics. Her reply was, "it could use some more work, please give me the opportunity to fix it. Her response seemed sincere, though I asked her if she could explain how so much was missed. She did not respond. Arranged for transportation again for a few days later, as she requested. Assumed she would do again. No, she advised she would just need for an hour. She messaged again saying she needed longer. Went back to pickup and noticed one spot on the dash had been fixed and side mirror smudges were gone but to my shock, that was it. All of the pics I am attaching are from after the service. She should maybe just offer a basic wash and vacuum. I went to message her after the second service snd she had me blocked. Since we had not had another conversation, this just told me she knew she had not done the service she was paid for, and figured a poor review was coming. Which I suspect has happened before. I contemplated leaving this review, but wish I had seen this prior to booking a service. She has great prices but I don't recommend giving your hard earned money to this business.
