A few years ago, this was a Best Western property. It is now quite easy to see why it is no more.
You have to find your room through twisty, windy corridors with cricky floors. The rooms are quite cramped though the furnishings are good enough. They are skimpy with the soap, etc. The bed was OK, but nothing to write home about.
The showers are a horror. They are a "rain" type, which is OK. The real bone is the water control. You get steaming hot or ice cold with no in between. I couldn't take a proper shower during my entire stay.
The continental breakfast was decent enough. It offers the usual pastries, bread, and cereal. However, it gets nicer with hard boiled eggs, ham, and cheese.
No computer is provided for guest use. This is highly unusual in this day and age.
In short it is an OK place, but just OK. read more
